"From all this we may learn that there are two races of men in this world but only these two. The race of the decent man and the race of the indecent man. Both are found everywhere, they penetrate into all groups of society. No group consists entirely of decent or indecent people. In this sense no group is of pure race."
- Victor Frankl
I totally agree, nobody is perfect. Everything is relative. Different people see things differently. One man's meat might be another man's poison.
So, who is to say that my ideals are bad?
I understand that I am not a perfect being, neither are my plans too. But the only way to make me perfect is to exterminate everyone else except for me. That way, I will be the one and only entity left which is capable of making judgment. Only then will I become the perfect One.
Which is why I must bring my plan to fruition.
I will start with that hopelessly infested land of the Dragons' Descendents.

I applied for leave today and before you guys are going to accuse me of going into the ORD mood, I would like to assure you all that I am not.
I am merely taking back what is rightfully mine. National Day falls on last Saturday and because of that, we are entitled to one day of off-in-lieu, which is why I am at home today.

"The 46th President of the United States"
No, I am not going to flap my gums about how great that country is. Its widespread knowledge that the United States is the world's best country anyway.
In one's life, wouldn't it be great if you can earn for yourself a legacy?
People will remember you for generations to come (for something good, hopefully).
You will be immortalized in the pages of history.
How cool is that?
In addition, people will refer to you using cool names like "Richard the Lionheart" and "Legendary Lees?"
I want a title for myself as well! A fabulous one that is.
Hmmm, "Singapore's Sprouting Leaf of Youthfulness" sounds not half-bad.
Wonder what I should do in future so that people might immortalize me with that name.

I was watching the Beijing Olympics 2008 - Opening Ceremony and I must say, I was kind of impressed.
The Chinese actually bothered to put some thoughts into creating their own unique performances for the event. There were really several interesting segments of the show which caught my attention. The location for the gigantic Olympic flame torch, which is supposed to be kept burning throughout the Games, is one good example of an out of the box thinking.
However, being the downright filthy mainland Chinese that they are, we cannot be 100% sure that they did not plagiarise. For one, the Chinese espionage services might have spied and stolen these ideas before the original creator can exhibit them. This might sound like a ridiculous possibility but we are talking about the inhabitants of the Middle Kingdom here where everything goes.
All in all, the Opening Ceremony was a good show, assuming that all the performance were actually truly crafted by the Chinese mind. But that does not mean they have won me over. At the end of the day, I still want to annihilate that country.
PS: If any of you out there thinks that our NDP fireworks were jubilantly exhilarating, please think again. Compared to those in the Opening Ceremony, our fireworks are nothing more than just some sparks and a few puffs of smoke.
