The perfect place for the perfect activity.

Now now don't you go getting the wrong idea. This is not some dirty brothel with terminals dedicated for porn-surfing. This is my living room during the witching hour with all lights off. What better ambience to enjoy Paranormal Activity in?

Well, as you all might have guessed, this is a horror film. And horror it did instill in me.
There were no physical ghosts in the film. It is not like the Ring, Shutter, Wishing Stairs, Dark Water or Ju-On etc. You do not see the ghosts in this movie. Instead, you feel it, you imagine it. Horror films which employs psychological mindplay (for the lack of a better word) to scare is the scariest. When you can no longer depend on your fully functional senses, you know that you are screwed. Big time.

How would you feel if you are dragged away from your bed and into a room which you hate most across the house in the middle of the night by nothing? Not very good, I presume.

That is what happened to the couple in the movie. They were tormented by this unknown entity in their new home. At first, things were fine but when the boyfriend tried to take matters into his own hands, he unknowingly angered that entity which eventually led to dire consequences which are too scary to talk about on a public webpage. I even went to check the authenticity of the film after watching it. Thank goodness it was not a true story. It wasn't even based on one. Phew.

The film has three different endings. I went and read about them and felt that the one I watched is the scariest amongst the three. Nonetheless, I will still watch the other 2 variations to see how it is like.

Anybody wants to join me? It has to be in a brothel-like environment of course.
