time goes by so slowly for those who wait... no time to hesitate!

Wow. Thats a nice song. Its Hung Up by Madonna. I dunno why but for some reason, I am getting more and more attracted to her. Maybe its because of her age-defying body. Maybe its because of her talent. Maybe its because of the pink suit that she wore in her Hung Up MTV...
Whatever it is, she has somehow caught my attention.

I think she would be the perfect actress for The Boss if there ever is a movie based on Metal Gear Solid 3. Yes...

Maybe... just maybe... I might make my own Hung Up MTV....

All right. A few more hours before I had to walk in. So I guess I will just make an entry today.


The past week was a somewhat boring, outstanding and taxing week for me. Want to know why? Let me tell you why.

ITS COZ I SAID SO!!!!!!!!!

Ok. Like what the heck.. back to my crappy antics again.

I had my first swimming lessons last week and I thouhgt it would be fun and slack and easy just like in BMT but hell no. I was damn wrong.

Our instructor, FI Alan, knocked us down for talking when we are in the file. And he got this tone that tells you that "You bloody nimcompoop. Better watch out when your around me for I am not to be messed with!" Yeah. Thats the kind of feeling he gave me. After he gave us that first meeting gift, he taught us how we should lay down our stuff inside the swimming complex as it was our first time here. Then, for the first time in like 4 weeks after BMT, I had to do something within a time limit. He gave us like 2 minutes for all of us(there were 42 of us) to change into our trunks, lay down our stuff neatly and fall in. Heck. So long never rush to do stuff ler... Of course we failed to meet the time limit. We thought that he will be pumping us again but he just gave us a glare and give us like 30 more seconds to do what we are supposed to do. Luckily, we managed to do what he wanted us to do.

Next up is warm-up time. Likewise, I thought warm-up would be a piece of cake but... you guessed it, I was wrong again. After the usual, thigh, calf, hamstring, neck, arm, chest, trunk stretching, we thought we were ready to go but no. Alan asked us to carry on 20 push ups for him. And his 20 counts is like
1.2.3.4.5.6..7...8....9.....10..........11..........12..........13..........
14...............15................16.................17..................
18...........................19................................20
with each dots representing a pause. After that, we had to do 20 sets of 4-counts jumping jacks.
Then after the jumping jacks we did any 20 similar kind of push ups. Then another 20 sets of 4-counts jumping jacks. Followed by any 20 similar kind of push ups. And finally we did 20 sets of 8-counts jumping jacks... Thus concludes our warm-up.

For the first session, he made us swam one lap across the pool using breast stroke. Those that cannot swim would be filtered out while those that could will remain. Obviously, I could swim. Next, for those that passed the swimming, he made us trap water in the pool to see how long we can last. While trapping water, he would make us turn left and right and then make us raise our hands. Those that failed to meet his timing were again filter out and those that met his timing remained. I failed his timing.

After that, he categorised us. Those that are non-swimmers would be in Cat C. They will be learining basic swimming skills. Those that can swim but cannot meet his timing in trapping water would be in Cat B. We would be learning how to trap water effectively and LIFESAVING 2. Those that can trap water and can swim would be in Cat A. They would be learning LIFESAVING 3. Alan said that for those of us who are in Cat B, if we perform well, we might be able to take LIFESAVING 3 after we complete our LIFESAVING 2. I will want to aim for LIFESAVING 3 because once I complete that, I would be recognized and vouched by the SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE as a certified lifeguard. Ha. This is definitely more credible than those certs that you get at the CCs or some other swimming clubs.

When the categorisation is done, the lesson ended. And before we left, Alan said that he did not tekan us much since its only our first lesson.....

Anyways, we also found out that Alan was a former dragonboated for NTU. NTU.... I wonder when they will give me a reply for my application.

We ran our 2.4 kilometres last Tuesday and goodness gracious... my timing increased by 1 minute. Ugh. Thats what one week of block leave can do to my fitness. Shucks. I must train harder.

On Wednesday, we had this Police Workplan Seminar where the Minister of Home Affairs-cum- Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng and the Minister of Community Development, Youth and Sports and many other high ranking officers came down to talk and discuss about the future of the SPF. Some of my squad mates got the chance to spoke to these big shots but for most of the time, we were just audiences... its really a mentally taxing time. We had to endure through 6 hours of the talk. And we cant fall asleep. Not falling asleep is definitely not easy when we are sitting on the comfortable gallery seats and the whole hall is air conditioned.

Thats about all the interesting event that happened. Oh. I passed my weapon handling test and would be going for live range next week. Ha. Cant wait to fire my 698grams Taurus M85 revolver fitted with a laser sighting just like SAR21. Ha.

Every human, I believe, is capable of feeling the unmistakable sensation of having someone staring at you, or watching at you from behind.


So, have u ever felt, occasionally, that you are being watched by somebody, or something, from behind?


Most of the time, you know deep down that something is watching you and naturally, you will turn around to see who is feasting his eyes on you. But, what if when u turn around and no one is there?


Or when you look up into the mirror and no one is behind you. But that dreaded feeling of something watching you is still present?


Is it just you? Or is it something else...


For the whole of my life, I have heard many tales of the paranormal and have watched countless horror films. Some really sent a shiver down my spine while others simply bores me to death.


I never gave much thought to the Otherside... until recently.


I recalled all the stupid things I used to say I would do if I ever met the Third Kind and now, I regret making those brainless comments.

I have taken a photo of it, be it by luck or by chance. I hope whoever out there can help me out and save my life. I am only 18.....

Sidenote: The chinese have a tradition of giving inauspicious or bad names to their children so that when they grow up, they would turn into a handsome/pretty gentleman/lady. The above picture sort of proved this tradition. Perhaps its just one of out a million but oh well, no harm trying ha!

Just as I expected, the Mayans did not put up much of a resistance. The primitive degenerates which made up their army were like puny little ants in the face of my marching armies; they are fated to be crushed into non-existence by my troops. With their defeat, North America has become my backyard.

Anyway, while I am in the midst of massacring the Mayans, I took the liberty to invade the Dutch as well. They too, fell to my empire smashing strength and as such, I now have control over the northern territories of New Granada, Guyana and Venezuela in South America. Soon enough, I will vanquish the remaining states in the region, namely the Portugese, Incans and some tiny native tribes, and establish my grand empire - the United States of America. When that happens, the CJ era shall begin...

My first week as an officer cadet trainee at the Home Team Academy was pretty good. I have sort of gotten over my trauma and accepted the fact that I will be staying in the police force. It is not that bad after all. We get around the same salary as our counterparts in OCS but our training is less taxing. Apparently, I am also very very fortunate to be chosen as an OCT at HTA; out of the 3000++ recruits in Tekong, only 40 are selected to become OCT. Calculate the probability and you will understand what I am talking about. Anyways, I will be training to become an Inspector to Police, a rank which is equivalent to that of a full Lieutenant.

Other than being my walk-out* day, today is also the Parent's Visiting Day. Our parents came today and witnessed the affixation of the Junior Term insignia (something like the first white bar in OCS) for us. We were also officially sworn in as cadets. I made a slight blunder during the affixation but lets not talk about it.

Basically, as an OCT, I am required to be well versed with our laws and must always have a high level of discipline because OCTs are responsible for keeping law and order in the Academy. We also get to raise the flag during morning assembly. Other than that, we are expected to be well rounded in our studies and our physical activities.

My Course Manager(equivalent to a PC) is Assistant Superintendent(ASP) Dominic and my Field Instructor(equivalent to a platoon sergeant-cum-sergeant major-cum-PTI) is Staff Sergeant Eddie Ng. My OC is Deputy Superintendent Julian Chen. My CO is Superintendent Syed Sagoff. My super big boss is the Commissioner of Police(equivalent to Chief of Army) Khoo Boon Hui. Well, the ruling echelon in the police is somewhat similar to the army. So far, all my commanders are nice people.

My batch seems to have everything cut short for us. Our BMT was shortened from 11 weeks to 9 weeks and now our OCT training is shortened from 9 months to 7 months... Also dunno whether we should count ourselves lucky or not.

I also found out, much to my surprise, that Kenneth is training as an armor recce in the camp just next to the Home Team Academy. We are separated only by a fence and some blocks between our camps. So close yet so far haha.
I heard some amazing feats about commandos today, regular commandos(that excludes you Al, but you still hve some of my respect,abit) to be exact and I can only say that my respect for them has increased yet again. If you want to know, come ask me.

The Aztec Empire has fallen to my armies like a stack of cards being blown away by a gust of wind. The only obstacle left to conquering the whole of North America is the accursed Mayan Empire. Any grand plans of the Mayans in the past has already been put off by the Aztecs and since I have already conquered the Aztecs... the Mayans shall be crushed as well. Mwahahahaha!

Nothing can stand in my way. Not even the Europeans. I shall unite the Americas under my glorious banner and upon accomplishing that magnum opus, the United States of America shall be formed. It will be a country so powerful that it will dominate the rest of the world for many years to come. There is no stopping us; you can only hope to contain us.

Huat ah!

Sher and I spent $25 yesterday to complete House of the Dead 4 at Marina Sqaure arcade yesterday. Woo. It was really a self-gratifying experience haha. The game itself was very fun and exciting. Of all the bosses, I like the final boss, The World, most. Not only does it looks cool and menacing, it also has an arsenal of deadly and stunning attacks. We wasted the most coins while battling him heh. My second favorite boss would be The Empress. Oh well, no point elaborating further. Go play the game to know what I am talking about.

I have finally finished building my USS Nimitz. Well, not quite finished. I am still left with painting the planes and attaching the signal sticks to the ship itself. I think I will do that next week.

Tomorrow morning, I will be reporting to my new vocation camp. Getting abit the excited now since I still havent found anyone that has the same vocation as me. Hope I will do well there.

Embarking on the journey to become a Checker. Whats a Checker you might ask. Try to think out of the box. And you will know what I am talking about...

In the whole of my life, I never ever dreamt that I would be posted to such a vocation. I was temporarily traumatised when I saw the results. It was not what I wanted. But neither was it what I abhorred. From what I gathered, its one of the most highly coveted vocation. Somewhat ironic? Oh well. Since its already a fact, I guess I can only accept it and see how things go. What is my vocation you might ask? Well. I don't want to publicize it. If you really want to know, come ask me personally.

I have been more or less stoning my afternoon away. Did helped to do some chores for mom though. My USS Nimitz is still uncompleted. I only have the weekend left. Dinner tonight was... ok. Nothing more.

The time was 4.00pm. The sky was grey and thick, dark clouds were accumulating in the sky. There was an occasional flash of lightning and roars of thunder could be heard. The sky was about to give way to the torrential rains. But that didn't stop me from going swimming.

My performance today was not very good. The last time I swam 20 laps, I took 25 minutes but I took 26 minutes to swim 20 laps today. I was practically chiong-ing all the way today so I was quite taken aback by my timing. I wonder what went wrong. Must be all the uncle swimming leisurely and blocking my way. Either that or the pool at Jalan Besar is larger than Toa Payoh's.

Sher called me while I was bathing at the pool's toilet and asked me to go eat at Novena. But my mom's cooking dinner. So I had to reject her. When I reached home, I wanted to continue with my shipbuilding but for some unexplainable reason, I just got glued in front of my computer(despite it being a lousy computer) and chatted my late afternoon away. I gossiped with Hui Xin about some J-pop stuff.

At 7pm, I had a quick dinner and rushed down to Shaw Plaza to catch my movie, "The Messenger", which starts at 8pm.

-TIMEOUT-
While I was about to comment about "The Messenger", Jamal had to come and tell me that Final Destination was on Channel 5. Not wanting to miss the show, I decide to Timeout for awhile and go watch the TV. But heck, it was like the last 10 minutes of the show left.
-TIMEOUT-

There were only about 15 people watching the movie. I thought I would get to enjoy the movie alone in the enitre cinema again. But I guess enjoying the movie alone in an entire row of seats isn't that bad either.

Sypnosis:
The Solomon family purchased a countryside barn where they intend to make a profit by growing sunflowers. Shortly after they settled in their new home, wierd things began to happen. Soon, Jessica Solomon, the only daughter in the family, heard and witness paranormal activities in her house. With some help from her baby brother, Ben Solomon(who for some reason, can see the ghosts), she managed to find out more about the ghosts haunting her house. The ending was quite unexpected. It sort of changed the genre of the movie to thriller instead. All in all, this show wasn't all that scary. The only scary parts would be the sound and visual effects, which is a must-have in every horror film. The plot itself is not really very horrifying.

After the show, I walked home and upon reaching home, I got stuck infront of the computer again. Its amazing how I would flock to my PC all the time, just as how flies flock to shit. Hmm...

In a few more hours, I will know where I will get posted to for the next phase of my National Service. Come to think of it, my block leave is ending soon. Time really flies. How I wish it can fly faster so that my NS will be over like now. Oh well.

OK. Did some shopping today. Still trying to find a nice and affordable belt.

Went to shop around Orchard with Choony, Chalk and Kenn.

1. Went to Borders to find Chalk's book. Chalk found his book but cant afford to buy it. I saw some aerospace books but I can't afford them as well. Thought of buying a world atlas but oh well.

2. Next, I wanted to get a new pair of shoes. A pair of slip-ons actually. Went to Isetan to search for it. Didn't find the shoes I want. But found this revolutionary underwear by Calvin Klein instead. Tried to convince Kenn to buy it but failed to. Bought one piece of sushi at the supermarket. Saw Justin there as well.

3. Went to Pacific Plaza next. Saw a pair of slip-ons. But its too hip for me in my opinion. Especially when more and more people thinks I am 24 years old. Found out that Kenn's sister was attending lessons at the Yoga school there. And discovered that David Gunn's friend owns a salon there as well. Kenn is so knowledgeable. Thot that Chalk is finally going to buy something when he enters the Fossil watch shop and asked the attendant to show him a watch on display. Turns out that his just looking only..

4. Walked to Far East Plaza next to continue the hunt for my shoe. Found one that I think is nice. But I feel that it might still be too hip for me. I look 24 remember? But heck. It cost $39 only. So I went and bought it. Kenn also tested on a pair at the shop. Suddenly as he tested his pair of shoe, two shoes on that rack(approximately 2 metres away from him) dropped onto the floor. I asked him what happened and he claimed that his psychic. Okk. Anyways, I tried to convince him to get the pink skull design but needless to say, I failed.

5. Traversed to the basement of FEP to eat Long John's Silver.

6. Travelled to Lucky Plaza to get a new phone for myself; at the cost of ninety Sing dollars. Bought the Nokia 1110i. A simple and basic phone. Good enough for me to use in the army for the next one year and 8 months. Sometimes, I just feel that I spend money without thinking. But heck, its an attribute imbued into me since my birth. I can only hope to minimize it in the future with rationality. But I doubt I can do away with it altogether. Saw Wayne at the handphone shop which I bought my phone. He also came to look for a camera-less phone. Aha too bad I just came out from Tekong while your journey has just begun haha...

7. Sneaked into the House of Condoms shop to take a look. But let me get this clear, it was Chalk that suggests that we go in the first place since we never been in before. Saw a lot of interesting stuff. Condoms for $1? hmm. When we came out, I was frantically looking around to ensure that no one I know is passing by. Just in case... but hey I look 24!

8. Marched to Paragon next and for some wierd reason that only he knows, Choony decided to explore the place from top first then to bottom. So we took the escalator to the top floor and then started to descend floor by floor. Saw the revolutionary underwear again in the CK shop there. Some belts caught my attention but the price tags drenched my determination(whatever that means.) But hey, its Armani Exchange, what can I say? Passed by Prime Ribs and heard Kenn said it was a place where you can eat if you want to get bankrupt. Following that statement, he said that he has just eaten there yesterday... Went to the basement and saw StarBucks. Thought I might see someone there but nope. We entered this shop called Canele(pronounced Ker - neh - lee) to have some high tea. I ordered some Citrus cake and a pot of Monkey King tea. Seriously. No joke. Its Monkey King tea. The cake was nice. Abit sweet though but still bearable. As for the tea, it taste like monkey... nah it taste like jasmine tea. The four of us ordered different cakes so we "traded" with each other. All the cakes were very nice. But I like Chalk's most. Can't remember the name but I know that its long in shape. The ambience of the cafe is very soothing and nice. And the waitresses are very friendly. One of them asked us whether we just finished BMT or what and Chalk answered her truthfully. If I am answering, I will just tell her "Eh no missus, we just released from Changi Prison this morning. Now come here to catch up with the times." Hey, its a place I will be returning to again. If I am not mistaken, I think the Canele was featured on your blog as well. I spent $15 altogether. Sinful but desirable.

9. Chalk departed us to attend his friend's grandfather's wake after the high tea. He is a very nice friend in my opinion. Kenn Choony and me went to Taka's Kinokuniya to browse around since we do not know where else we can go. After browsing through world maps, atlases, comics, aerospace books and game guides, I said goodbye to the duo and headed home.

Back at home, I finally got myself down to assembling my USS Nimitz model. And I have made good progress. All thats left for me to do is to paste the decals onto the deck. But that alone will take quite some time. Hope I can finish it before this week ends....

Lost.

Thats the best word to represent my mood now.
I have no idea what I can do! Or rather I don't know what I want to do.

I cannot play my computer games because of the apathetic state which my computer is in now.
I cannot play my PS2 because my brother is hogging. And even if I do get the console out of his room, I have no TV to attach it to. Moms hogging the living room TV to herself.
I have this partially finished assembled model of the USS Nimitz but I just can't seem to gear myself up to finish it.
I want to get a PSP or a DS but I don't know which to get. Its always like that. I get one item and I will regret not buying the other item and vice versa. Unfortunately, I am not rich enough to afford both. So its best I buy none of them. But still I want to get a PSP or a DS.
I want to go out. But also dunno where I can go to. Its either movies or swimming or running.

I am practically stoning my life away everyday.
My life is so disorganized at the moment. I need to do something about it.

I have made some very bad decisions lately. Must start learning to think even more rationally from now onwards.

Alright.

Its been a while since I blogged. The good thing about getting into army is that you will learn to prioritize your time and in the process, you will really see wats important to you. Since I only get to book out during weekends for at most 48 hours(and minimum 36 hours), I really need to plan how to spend my time well. Unlike in the past, where I have almost every week to myself, I can no longer afford to waste my time now. In the past I see my family everyday so I take them for granted. But now, I only get to see them once every week, so gradually, I began to realise how important they are to me.

Army life has been good so far. I am really glad to be in Bronco. However, all this is gonna end in one and a half weeks time when I POP out of Tekong. That aside, something has just ended for me yesterday; my JC education.

Yesterday was the release date for the A levels results and I will just say I did moderately well for it. When I went back to school yesterday afternoon, I saw my chinese sensei 陈老师. She was a nice teacher. We had a very brief moment of chat before she went towards the bus stop while I went into the school building. I guess that might be the last time I will be seeing her. Inside the school, I went to our Performing Arts Center where my principal Brother Paul gave a talk. As usual, students with outstanding results were commended. After that, I left the PAC and I would not expect to enter it again. I saw all my friends. They all looked so different. Elleen especially. Maria even more. Even my form teacher had a new hairstyle. After collection of our results, we went to talk to some of our former teachers. I talked to Mrs Chuah and Mrs Tai and discovered that Mrs Tai's daughter got 8 distinctions for her A levels; 4 As for her subjects and 3 distinctions for her 3 S papers and A1 for GP. I guess this would be considered exceedingly outstanding. But well, shes from RJ after all. I didn't get the chance to talk to Ms. Lim. Guess I won't ever get to see her again.

I sat down with my class in the school canteen and reminisce for perhaps the last time. Some would be going back to their home countries, some would be going overseas to further their studies, some would be working while some, like me, would be serving NS. At this stage of our life, each of us would be busy doing our own stuff. We would all be moving in different paths in life. It might be a long long time before we can have a gathering again.

The sound of the lesson bell ringing... ah, it feels so familiar.

Finally, I left the school and headed for home, never turning back to look at it again. This would probably be my last time leaving CJC for I could not think of any more reason for me to enter CJC again and leave it once more.

I am back from my first two weeks of my Basic Military Training from the beautiful island resort of Pulau Tekong. Those two weeks definitely felt like 2 months to me. Time seems to move so much slower in there but I am glad I made it past the first two weeks.

My batch of intake is the so-called "enhanced" batch and hence, our commanders are given only 9 weeks(compared to the original 11 weeks) to teach us the same amount of military training. Also, Bronco company is also known as a leadership company, meaning most of the intakes will end up in command schools like OCS and SISPEC. Personally, I would very much like to enter OCS and I will try to work towards my goal.

My commanders are all very nice people in the sense that they don't delibrately tekan you for no reason but they can become downright nasty and serious and firm during trainings... I remembered one of my IMT sessions where one of my mates failed to follow instructions and my section commander yelled the shit out of him and the scolding was really so severe that my mate cried in the end. Yes. This is how serious my commanders can get.

My bunkmates and platoon mates are all very friendly and interesting people as well. So I guess I am quite lucky to land at where I am now in Tekong. I heard Alphonsus is having a hard time at his Commandos camp. I hope he can pull it through.

I think I like the road marches most. I think I just like any activities that involves legs haha.

After booking out on friday afternoon, I am suposed to book in again on Saturday evening. So why is it that I can still blog on a Sunday morning? The reason is because I have fallen sick due to some food poisoning. I received an MC for 3 days, meaning I will book in only on next Tuesday. Some of you might think its good but to me, its actually bad because my field camp starts today! Which means I will miss the first two days of the field camp! If I am not able to complete my field camp, the commanders might decide to make me do field camp with another company, which means I might have to camp with total strangers. Not very good if you asks me. Plus, I also missed my 8km march which started this morning and should have ended by now...

I wanna my hair back.

Going to experience something entirely new. Can't wait for it.
If you stop and think about it carefully, NS isn't so bad after all.

Tekong School 1 is notorious for its haunted history. The infamous 3-room bunk is located there.
Such a place is perfect for a paranormal enthusiaist like me.
Lets hope I won't get into trouble.

I am in a pretty good mood now.
I guess its all because of you.
Though I can't get to see you before my enlistment, I got to talk to you.

That is more than enough. I appreciate it.

However, I do realise that reality isn't so kind.
Not everything will always turn out the way I want it to.
Hence, I shall keep my hopes lower.
That way, I will feel less pain when reality hits me.

Did some catching up with Chew-ka-lao-sai today haha.

In case you're wondering, Chew-ka-lao-sai(chew until shit) is my sec school friend and he is actually known as Robin chiu... he went into SA after sec sch and thank goodness i dint go there for if i did, I might not be able to get BAND ONE for my PW. Apparently, the SA teachers gave their students the wrong information and the whole cohort ended up doing the PW wrongly. But chew-ka-lao-sai managed a band 2... not bad not bad.

We went to pool at marina square haha and it feels great to be playing against someone that is more or less of my calibre. I thought I was already very pro with my Ball-jump-over-the-table technique but he impressed me with his Ball-constantly-jumping-out-of-bounds technique...
After that went to arcade to play the "Lets-Go Jungle: Trap on Spice Island" game. very nice.

Then we went to PS to catch the Gim Hui Curse, otherwise known as The Curse of the Golden Flower. Just like what my cousin said, the movie is full of bouncing boobs; all the palace maids and the empress and most other female characters wear attires that never fails to reveal at least half of their boobs. In addition, their boobs bounces up and down as they move through the palace. In short, the movie is about the fight for absolute power in the Imperial Family. The emperor wants to kill the empress and so the empress decided to strike first by asking her son to rebel against the emperor and take the throne. In the process, the crown prince died and the emperor become damn angry and went on a rampage. Then the emperor found out about the empress's plot and blah blah blah. The emperor won in the end. But he also lost something I guess. What i like about the movie is the frequent clash of armies haha. Thats about the only part I like I guess.

I would rate it 3.5/5

after the movie i went to the toilet to excrete but again, my body played fun of me again. nothing dropped down as i sat on the toilet bowl....

after that we went to the STAR FACTORY and played some more arcade game...

Suddenly, a surge of excitement filled my body. Accompanying that surge of excitement was a stinge of anxiety; I could feel my heart in my throat at that time. After awhile, my elation wore off as I realised the cold hard fact... I can't make the mark...

Went to eat Mac for dinner after that and went home. WHOOOOOOOOO, Diamonds are Forever and so is the NATURE BOY!

Does anyone of you ever felt like you need to shit and so went into the toilet, squat(or sit) down, twitch your butt muscles and then end up not shitting at all?

Well I just experienced it... and several times in the past. Quite funny. Wonder whats that all about. Am I being fooled by my body or what? There really is this tangible and realistic urge to excrete but when I get yourself ready to detox, my manure seems to be denied entry into my rectum by my large intestine. Sorta like stuck half way up there.

Beware! The MIRACLE of life!

Thank goodness there is no feeling that something is being sucked or pushed back into my stomach >.<

Went to gym with Ted today and it has been quite awhile since my last visit. I believe I shrunk in size. Was quite disappointed about it because I want to have a nice body to compensate my cannot-make-it face. (Unlike someone whose worrying all day long about getting bigger...)
In fact, I think I NEED a nice body. I simply NEED that balance.

Perhaps I shall start wearing NEW BALANCE shoes.

After that, went into the toilet with Ted and being the cheapskate person that I am, I decided to take a bathe since it will help me conserve my water bills at home. Ted waited for me to finish bathing. Such a nice guy isnt him? AS IF.
We argued whether should we go MS(my stand) to pool or Clementi(his stand) to pool(the gym was at Clementi). No adequate agreements could be made between both of us and so we decided to get Mr. Commando-cum-Alibaba to break the stalemate. In the end, the ardent supporter of The Great Motherland won the argument with the support of Tsar Ra's Guy and we headed for MS to pool.

While waiting for the bus with the Chick Watcher, Ted suddenly remembered that he had an appointment with his friend. But being the nice and considerate guy that he is, Ted decided to pool with us instead and PS-ed his friend. Thanks TED!

Alfonsus and me impressed Ted during pool; we showed him, on many occasions, how to miss
a ball that was set perfectly straight infront of a pocket. I also presented my ever-elusive ball-jumps-out-the-table(this is, by no means, related to buddha-jumps-over-the-wall) technique. I guess it was an eye-opener for him. He probably saw two of the worst poolers around in the history of mankind today. Well, sorry Ted. I already told you my pool skills are abysmal. If you read my previous post carefully, you would have known... Ted, lets play again when I get better.

But well, the good thing is I got a few pointers from Ted. He imparted to me a part of his 九球神功. I am gonna use that to thrash somebody next time.

After that, we just walked around MS and then finally settled down in Mac where Alfonsus and Ted had an intense, almost vehement, debate. Ted was saying geniuses are usually mildly autistic while Alfonsus was saying that was not the case and so began the debate of the millennium. Being the ignoramus I am, I just sat down and listen to them argue and I heard some interesting stuff like "A taxi is a car but a car is not a taxi" and "Homosexuals? and homicides" etc etc. The debate ended with a tie between both parties.

Then I proceeded to Suntec with Alfonsus to look for his Alwayssummer Morning game while Ted went home. We combed through the stores but found nothing that Alfonsus wants. But I saw something that I want in Karful(Carrefour) - an R.C helicopter! But it costs $50. Perhaps I should bring my mom there and get her to buy the toy for me. HEhehe...

When we headed for home, we saw a HMV in Citylink Mall and so we went in to look see. Sadly, the CD which Alfonsus wanted was sold out and he was so disappointed to hear this that his eyes almost became watery. But we still had a good catch. I purchased a copy of FINAL FANTASY ADVENT CHILDREN VCD while he acquired the MIRROMASK VCD. I am gonna watch my FFAC soon. I watched it once before but it was from our neighbouring country and the images were jumpy at times and worst, the subtitles sucks. The show is in Japanese. So subtitles are crucial. Very crucial.

6 more days to NS. Soon, I will be able to lay down my gun for my country. Soon, I will no longer have to worry about styling that bird-nest-lookalike hair of mine.

Its 2am plus now and I am still not a sleep. The official school holidays has ended and school will start again in like 6 more hours. Darn, I must have gotten used to late nights. Hope I can concentrate tomorrow.... Wait a sec, I just remembered I have graduated from JC. Ha, senile me.

I have been pooling around continuously for the past few weeks with my 好妹儿, so much so that my pool skills have increased abit. Yes. Abit. I am still an average, if not, lousy player. People that want to find a partner to hone their pool skills can always ask me out to pool with you. I will be more than happy to accept your invitiation.

I still haven't finished building my aircraft carrier model.

I've painted the hull and other main body parts. All thats left is don't attached all the seperate pieces together but I've a problem, I can't use UHU glue to do the job because they would eat away the paint on my painted parts. In addtion, its very difficult to apply the glue smoothly onto the parts which I want to paste; that would always be overflow to the side and this makes the pasting looks ugly. I also need a pair of tweezers to hold tiny parts(even smaller than the "Exclaimation mark" which you can find on your keyboard" when pasting them to the hull of the ship. Guess I might make another trip to the hobby shop later on. Maybe I can get Ali from Cairo to come with me. Maybe not.

I am in the midst of updating my Friendster account. Been a long while since I visited it.

Gay New Year everyone!

Being the introvert person that I am, I stayed at home and PS2-ed my life away on new year's eve while other hip and happening person are out on the streets ushering in the new year.
BIG DEAL! I was hoping for some sort of Armageddon or Apocalypse but too bad, nothing out of the ordinary happened when the clock strucks 12am. Oh well, there is always next year.

I still can't seem to complete the Paramedic mission on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas after trying for the whole day.

Since its a new year, I have to celebrate it somehow and so, I decided to refurbish my blog to give it a new outlook! Doesn't it look great? I am so in love with it!
For those of you that don't already know, the girl above is Erika Toda and she starrs as Misa Amane in DeathNote The Last Name. As of now, I am officially her fan but like who the hell would care~

Never mind never mind...

I felt to make a DeathNote for me because I no can afford to buy one. And also they no sell un-black DeathNote so I want make a red one because in comic they got say that there also has limited editions of DeathNote for DeathGods that comes in non-black colours as well. I want to be out of the ordinary. Hence I going make a red one to make sure I not the same as others.

The last time I blogged was on the 18th of December and today is the 30th of December.
12 days have passed.
My perseverance and courage have died off and I can't help but blog today.

I wanted to test the autenticity of the 13-day rule in this Death Blog which is why I haven't blogged for the past 12 days. But I failed. I just can't bring myself to do it and I will tell you why.

= The 13-day rule of the Death Blog =
When the owner of a Death Blog posts an entry in the blog, he must post another entry again in the next 13 days. Otherwise, he would die in one of the following ways:

1. When using a mobile phone, or any type of phone, the receiver will simply explode, bursting the owner's head into pieces. If the owner choses not to use any communication tools at all, he/she will simply die of brainfreeze.

2. The owner's shirt, or any clothes that he is wearing, will suddenly absorb moisture from the surroundings and start to shrink rapidly, squeezing the owner's body so hard that he/she will die of suffocation. In the event where the owner decides to remain nude, his/her skin will absorb the moisture instead and the owner's body will be inflated by the absorbed moisture until he/she explodes.

3. Food, any food even liquids, consumed by the owner will penetrate his/her stomach, resulting in fatal internal bleeding. Sometimes, the food might pierce through other organs as well, such as the penis. Either way, the owner will die of painful internal bleeding. If the owner opts to feed himself/herself by injecting liquid foods into his/her body, the liquid foods will suddenly be transmuted into mercury, hence, bestwoing upon the owner a mercurial death. In the unlikely event where the owner decides not to eat and drink, he/she will simply starve to death.

4. While sleeping, the owner will be impaled by a Russian flagpole. If the owner hires bodyguards to protect him/her while sleeping, all the guards will get impaled by the same Russian flagpole first before the owner gets that same flagpole up his/her anal cavity. Note that the Russian flagpole will appear out of nowhere. Also, in the unlikely event where the owner decides not to sleep forever, he/she will simply get gunned down by Russian hitmen, which, coincidentally, will also appear out of nowhere.

5. The Death gloB* will take over the owner's mind and kill him/her in any manner it desires.

6. This one's old school. The owner will simply die of a heart attack!

No matter what, as long as the owner does not post anything within 13 days from his latest entry, he will die.

*Death gloB; a mythical entity that hands a Death Blog to a human. The Death gloB is capable of controlling the owner's mind only when the owner has violated the 13-day rule. How the owner will die is decided by a toss of a six-sided die by the Death gloB. If the number "1" shows up on the die, then the owner will die by method one and so on and so forth.

Now you know why I have to blog. I don't wish to die yet. Not after I discovered Erika Toda is of the same age as me!

I am playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas recently and I enjoy slapping pedestrians and police officers with a purple double headed dildo. You all might feel that I am outdated to be playing an old game now but you can't blame me cause I can only play the PS2 during the holidays. As a result, I have tons of games that I have yet to complete and there are tons of new games out there that I want to buy. Add them together and I will get a bowl of wanton noodles.... haha not very funny eh.

Went to watch DeathNote:The Last Name last night with Sher. I can't believe I watched it twice... I watched it first with Joy and Annis and Annisfren on the day before yesterday. Then again, its a nice show and ERIKA TODA IS 18YO, SO AM I so I have no complaints. I would rate it 1/1(or 5/5 if you like, they all sum up to 1 anyway).

The movie itself is very thought-provoking. Do we have the right to determine who should live and die? Are the lives of criminals worth saving? Are our judicial systems really that useful? Is it ever possible for us to create a set of perfect, flawless Laws? blah blah blah... Go catch the movie and you will understand.

The Death God said that when a human dies, he/she will not go to heaven, neither will he/she go to hell. What awaits that human, and all of us, after death is Nothingness. When you're dead, you remain dead. You do not go anywhere after death, you just cease to exist. No matter what you did during your life, you would end up in Nothingness because supposedly, we are all equal before Death. Wouldn't it be good if this was true? That way, I would be able to slap all the flys and want and not worry about my punishment after death. Then again, it might be true since no one has been able to prove the existence of heaven and hell or any other sort of resting place for us after our death. But, no one has proved that these places after death don't exist either. So where do we go after we die? I believe that is a question which we will never get an answer to. In the end, it all depends on your faith. And I believe we are all equal before Death.

~ Thus concludes the story of the DeathNote... ~



This is what was written on the last page of the last book of DeathNote. I have just finished reading the entire series and it is one of the most entertaining and mind boggling comic I have read so far. But this comic is not suitable for people whose chinese is not good and who cannot tolerate immense amounts of speech bubbles. Yes, there are tons of dialogues in this comic and if you don't understand any one of them, there is a high chance that you may not be able to follow the story. After all, the comic is about the battle of wits. If you don't have wits, please don't waste your money.





Anyway, here is how the story goes:



The protagonist, an incredibly intelligent high school student, Light Yagumi (夜神月), got his hands on the DeathNote by chance and decided to use it to root out the world's evil and become the supreme god of his New World Order. So, he started killing off bad guys one by one using the Note. Light's actions received mixed reactions from the public; some revere him as the saviour of mankind and called him 'Kira' while some condemn him as just another psychotic murderer.



For a moment, it really seems that Light was well on his way to create a utopia but as we all know, the path to godhood is never easy.



The mysterious deaths attracted the attention of the world's top detective, also incredibly intelligent, Lawliet, otherwise known as L. And so began the battle of wits between god-wannabe Kira and god-defeater-wannabe L. Blah blah blah and L died in the end(his death affected me both emotionally and psychologically). L's disciples, N(Near) and M(Mello) then took over the battle with Kira. Blah blah blah blah blah, Kira was defeated and died a tragic death.



- End of story -





Well, after Kira died, the public gradually realized that the mysterious deaths of villians stopped occuring and so all the bad people became active again. I guess we can't helped it, its just human nature.



The greatest irony, in my opinion, is that, unbeknown to Light, he already is a god in the hearts of many even though he failed to create his utopia. The last few pages of the comic depicts a trail of people wearing hoods(like the KKK) walking up a hill and at the top of the hill, a young lady held out a cup and murmured "Lord Kira" and then started praying... and then

With Kenneth's, the Rude Fighter, impressive strength, coupled with the charm of the Pretty-boy Julian, they, or rather, I am simply invincible. Mwahahahahaha. Those who dare oppose me shall die while those who obey me shall live. I will rule this world with a light and undestructible titanium fist! Nobody can stop me. You can only learn to live with me.

Alright alright... enough of my day-dreaming and conquering the world stuff.. seriously if I don't find anything interesting to do soon, I am gonna do more drastic things to my blogs... I dunno what but I will try to figure something when I am bored haha...

Woo, just came back from stoning with Sher at Shaw Plaza Mac.

It really was a period of stoning for me... but not so for Sher.


Sher bought her laptop along and so her friend decided to come down and watch some korean drama (It all started with a Kiss) together with her. I am not really into korean dramas or any other kind of dramas... so I just sat in my seat and gazed around the fast food restaurant periodically while playing Hangman with Sher's electronic dictionary.


Went to piss after awhile and while I was walking back to Mac from the toilet, I saw this shop that sells radio controlled planes and ships. I was tempted to buy one home(the shop was already closed though) but realised that I do not have any water surface that is big enough for the r.c boat so buying one would be tantamount to throwing my money into the sea. I am not really keen in the r.c planes since I like ships more. Earlier this afternoon, I was walking around Marina square with Sher and I saw this magnificient r.c destroyer that is capable of launching projectile weapons.. but the price tag is a whoping $80. Tempted as I was to get my hands on that ship, I could not find the financial resources to afford it. Sad.


Oh, I have digress...


Anyways, I went back to Mac only to continue waiting while the girls watched their drama. We went home at around 12 am, under pressure from my mom and Sher's aunt.

On the way back, I was asking Sher why her friend like so dao. Then she told me something which I didn't expect.


"Wah lao, look at your pissed off face already even I can't be bothered to talk to you."


I was somewhat taken aback upon hearing this comment. Sher continued saying that my face was "black" and "hostile" throughout the whole time. I told her that I wasn't angry or anything, its just my usual expression with my usual self. Its kind of hard to explain so I decide to use the following picture to make things simpler.






















Obviously, the person sitting on the sofa in the background circled with an orange circle is me and the person in the foreground is my niece. I censored her face so that Kira won't be able to kill her with the Death Note. Why I am not worried that Kira would kill me is completely beyond my mental comprehension but lets not bother about that for now shall we?


As you can see from the picture, my face is damn pissed off and I look extremely hostile.
Well then, please do not judge a book by its cover. I may appear to be irate but in actual fact, I am not a least bit angry(In case you are wondering, I am watching TV). This is how my face would look like naturally, that is when I am not laughing, smiling, frowning etc etc. Its my bloody natural look. I've got a naturally pissed-off look. WOW!


Not very exciting in my opinion...


So now you know why sometimes I may appear to be angry when you looked at me but in reality, I am not angry at all... Haiz.


So now, I am trying to smile at least a little whenever I am doing my natural look. I hope that this will make me look more friendly. Of course, I don't want to look stupid too, carrying a grin wherever I go. But if I don't try to smile, people might think I dislike them or something like that. And I would look anti-social.

Whoo. Just finished cleaning up the house. Yes. That was what I was ordered to do by my mother before she left the house at 8am in the morning to pak tor with my dad... Goodness gracious how old liao still pak tor ^^haha.

I cleared my computer desk, textbooks, notes, worksheets, and a cupboard in the kitchen, Threw away my Pokemon Trading Card game CD which used to be my prized possession in the past haha... Threw away quite alot of notes and worksheets and other useless stuff, like a dancing ornamental birthday cake~

Finally found out what is wrong with my spoeakers. I always thought that the flauctuating volumes are due to some loose wires at the back of the speaker but I accidentally discovered the true culprit today heh. Its the wire connecting the volume controller to the speaker that is loose. Guess I will need to tape it or something..

Off to take a shower...........

Went to work part time with Ted at Maris Stella yesterday.
It sure brings back lotsa memories for me and I am glad at least one teacher still recognizes me haha..

Our job was simple, but tedious. We were asked to shift 50+ units of iMacs from the IT Lab on the first floor to the storeroom on the 6th floor. The iMacs weights around 10kg and we have to move 50+ of them up a height of 30+ metres. If you think that sounds easy, think again. But luckily the iMacs have handles so its much more easier to carry them around. The eMacs were the killers...

Anyways, we had five people moving the macs, three others from the Apple iStore and me and Ted. We formed a human chain with each person stationed at each staircase and then carried the macs up to the 6th floor slowly...

When we are done with that, we went to have lunch at the school canteen. The iStore guys told us some pretty interesting stuffs that are simply too obscene to be blogged here. If you want to know, come ask me haha. Or Ted.

After lunch, we proceeded to the staff room where we will be moving the eMacs out of it and shift them into various classrooms and the IT Lab on the first floor. The staff room is on the 6th floor as well. Each eMac weighs around 17 kilograms and there were 80+ units of them. The worst part is the eMacs have no handles and they are smooth and glossy throughout so it is quite a chore to carry them over a long distance. Plus my sweat makes the eMacs even more slippery so I really have to grip it damn hard to prevent it from dropping.

For some reason, only Ted and I are moving the eMacs from the staff room to the classrooms, the other three iStore guy "helped" to move the eMacs out of the staff room and left it at the staircase for us. Great help I would say.

Well we took quite some time to deliver the eMacs to the 40+ classrooms. After that we went back to the staff room only to discover that we have 40+ eMacs to move to the IT Lab on the FIRST FLOOR! CAn you believe it? Somebody should have installed a pulley system in the school! Grrrr...

Anyways, slowly and carefully and surely, we moved the eMacs to the IT Lab successfully.

At the end of everything, my muscles were sore and weak. I woke up this morning to find them aching like mad. All this menial labour for $50. haha. Oh well. Its good training for my muscle. I think they are getting bigger already.

Watched the Conqueror of Shambala and found that it was quite nice. FMA rocks. I always thought that Izumi would die heroically in a fight or something but she actually died from her old ailments and she only got like 10 second of coverage in the 2hr show I was like wth lah. Nonetheless its a nice anime.

Cleared my wardrobe today and only threw away two shirts that are too small for me. And I realised I need new undergarments. Went shopping for a birthday present for Sebas with Sher and bought a board short for him. We had to go through several stores before we could find a size 28 for him. As usual, Sher cant resist buying something for herself. We went to Marina Square and I was damn happy because I found a store that sells miniature models of ships and planes! Yipppeeeeee!!! And they had paints which i need for my aircraft carrier as well. Yooooohoooooo!!! I am going to visit there frequently from now on. I saw a pair of FMA figurines which were damn kawaii and so I took a picture of them haha..

Stupid Sher suan my like shit on the way back... say what my hair looks like bird nest and that I was damn ugly and my shoe damn ugly grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I WANNA GO EXTREME MAKEOVER!!!

Ouch.. my muscles aches.... cant keep my arms straight...

yawnz...

went to see julian break dance at far east yesterday... wah... walk until leg damn tired... dunno why must dance at a so faraway place at FAR east.....

arrived there at 6.30pm and I tot i was earlier than chia seng( i meet him at subway) but actually his ealier than me. he just went to shop inside the plaza. then went to eat subway with him.

waited for like 1 hour + before the competition actually starts -_-"

during that one hour plus, we passed thru a house of condom shop and chia seng was telling me to go in and take a look and i was like "Chia SENG! YOu? You of ALL PEOPLE telling me THAT? OMG!!!" i asked him if he wants to buy something for his gf and he says maybe..... win liao lor he.

anyways we DIDNT enter that sinful shop.

the competition started and julian's team was the first to go. there were three members in his team and well haha his skills pales in comparison with others~ perhaps too nervous ler lah. better add oil ah u..

there is this particular team that i think is damn power - Ammunition.
one of the guy came out only then somersault twice... his from the National gymnast team according to julian.
i tink it sud be true because he got great looking arms and bod and he looks hot in his singlet!!! he got a pretty cute face too! erm plz dun misunderstand me - i am as straight as a flag pole. just envious of his stats.

i tot one of the girls partaking in the compettition was from CJ but julian and cs didnt seem to notice. hmm nah i must be rite. shes from CJ. i still remember her name. samantha.

we watched thru the first rounds of the competition then zhao liaoz... coz quite sianz. other than some special moves, like the somersaults above, the rest were all quite same and boring.

stoning at home now ha nothing to do. stupid sher ps me and go her mom's place to swim instead of swimming with me. maybe i will go swim later. maybe not.

i really really really really really hope that i can get a laptop. i cant be bothered with a desktop as long as my bro is still living with me because he... ugh lets not talk about that. but i also wan a ps3!!!
haiz why issit that i have got so many wants but so little money... WHY WHY!!!

I dunno whats gotten over me siaz. Been treating my family members pretty badly. Seriously wonder whats wrong with me.

Dunno why I have been in a pretty foul mood this whole day...

Then I am also very lost... dunno what to do. In the past, I would PS my life away during holidays but now, I no longer feel tempted to play the PS. Its like I lost interest in it completely.... I have been stoning my life away this whole day.

Whats happening to me?

Is this what they call mood swing? But usually, capricious emotions are due to either depression, menstration or pregnancy. I am definitely not pregnant. I cant anyway.

I am certain that I only have a banana and nothing else... so it cant be menstration. Maybe I should check again tho.

Depression huh.... nah could not be haha coz I dont have the tendency to seek death.

So what in the world is wrong with me?

hahahahahahaha...

very happy coz my exams ended... about one week ago lol.

anyways now that i have access to my ps2, i no longer give a damn about my computer mwahahah... ok not like i can live without it.. just that i use it less often than before because ps2 rocks! and my obsolete and lousy com sucks! things would be different if i could get my hand on an AlienWare but never mind about that now.

i had no intention to blog at all today(nor anytime in the near future) but something happened unfortunately and i just had to.

before this i was playing uncharted waters one and i was happy sailing along the mediterranean sea after making a fortune from trading, looking for mates to work for me. then this bloody pirate just had to attack me and sink me!! sickening son of a female dog. and the worst is i dint save my progress.... and i need to start all over again.... DARNNNNNNNNNN the thought of starting all over again disgusts me so i decided to stop playing the game.

but the night is still young and i dun feel like sleeping.. i cant play the ps2 coz its in my room, which is also my parent's room who are already asleep. and i am too lazy to bring the console into the living room...

thursday 23/11/2006 - i definitely remembered wat i did today hehe coz immediately after the day where i went shopping with my 4 frens, i went to shop again for my clothes.. and i found it. cost me a bomb tho. i shall not disclose the sum here.

friday 24/11/2006 - went to shop for my clothes at raoul with sher coz i cant find one i like previously... wait a minute - if i shopped for my clothes and bought it today, then wat was i doing on thursday? there must be some sort of a time paradox here. lets see... i am very sure that i shopped for my clothes again on the day after i shopped with the group of 4... and i am very sure that i shopped for my clothes on friday coz sher came home from seasons park that day. SO, i tink my entry for wednesday is wrong. if thats the case, i cant rmb wat i did that day haha. hmmm wat did i did on wednesday......

saturday 25/11/2006 - went to toa payoh to sell my hp but in the end i dint cos the highest price i was offered is $120. i was damn toot also. i immediately tell the dealer about the specs and info and how long i used it, its condition etc etc when i am not suppose to coz that way, i wud be able to get a better price or sth liddat. or at least i shud wait to the dealer ask me before telling him but no, i told him everything before he even decide to wat price to give me haha. shit me lah. oh well anyways i wun be selling my hp. went to vivo city with sher after that and well its not as extravagant as the advertisements make them to be. but its still quite nice. and it has CARLS JUNIOR! went back to ps in the evening. tako pachi very delicious. i am addicted to it. then went to cathay and wanted to watch happy feet with sher but no seats left. so went home.

sunday 26/11/2006 - went swimming. saw a cute ang moh guy at the pool(?) bought a bar of toblerone to eat and boy, its so delicious! i have wanted to buy it in the past few days already but only found the chance to do so today. toblerone rocks. i tink i am addicted to it.

I was studying, like the diligent and smart boy that I am, for my Further Maths paper when I got quite sianz.

So I decided to take a break and went to practice my pyrokinesis. I have been doing it for years but still can't seem to get the hang of it....

I placed a piece of paper infront of me and started to focus my energy...

...10 seconds later, nothing happened.

..... 1 minute later, nothing happened.

....... 5 minutes later, the paper was still intact.

"Ah heck!"

I decided to stop wasting time and went back to study. Just when I was about to start my 2005 paper, something happened.

Something which I never anticipated.

Something serious.

An unit in my block, two storeys above me and several units to my left, caught fire! No wonder there is a waff of burning smell lingering in the air. And the air outside my windows look unusually misty today as well. The fire was pretty big. When I stick my head out of the window to catch a glimpse, like the Singaporean that I am(hey lets admit it. If you were me you would do the same), I saw thick black smoke pouring out of the kitchen windows. Its like those kind of scene in TV dramas you know. Gradually, the smell of plastic and rubber burning also became stronger, so much so that the air becomes rather pungent to my nose.

Things were really serious; many people began gathering at the carpark to look at the burning unit(Singaporeans UNITE! We're always there for each other when trouble arises!). Not only that, people from the opposite blocks were also looking!

Apparently, my brother's wife told me that there was a deafening explosion of some sort but I didn't hear any explosions at all? Could it be that I have sub-concsiously created that inferno while focusing my energy earlier on for my pyrokinetic practice? Tua pek gong! If its really me, I would be so happy!!! Bt please don;t be mistaken; I am not a pyromaniac. I think I am more of a cryomaniac if you would.

Then suddenly, in addition to all the crackling sounds and chatterings of the onlookers, I heard an unidentified sound. I began looking around the carpark for the source of this sound but I can't seem to find any. However, this mysterious sound was getting louder and louder and louder... and it appears to be coming from the carpark entrance. I kept my eyes glued to the entrance while the sound continue to get louder.

Then, the sound became clear, it was a series of screeches and it was getting clearer. Obviously, it was a vehicle moving but from the way the screeches was coming from it, its as if the vehicle was making tight swerves and drifting around, with a pro driver at the wheel. Come to think of it, there are several turns in the roads linking my house carpark to the main road.

SCREECHHHHHHHH----EEEEEEEE EEEEEKKKK

Its the fire engine of our dependable Singapore Civil Defence Force! And its drifting like mad into my carpark! You guys should have watched it swerved right into my carpark!!!! Ok fine, I am crapping this but hey, its for special effects.

Anyway, yeah two fire engines arrived, put out the fire, saved the victims and left. The crowd dispersed and everything returned to normal except for a scorched unit on my block. Meanwhile, an excited me was eating peanut butter bread with coffee and SMSing my friends about this incident. Don't ask me why - I am a Real Singaporean. (part Russian tho)


And i apologized for the somewhat abrupt ending. Felt too sianz to continue elaborating further.

Just had a round of Rise of Nations with Ted... Damn funny... the computer AI nuke him machiam like free like that lol. If you are wondering, I only fired one nuke at his cities. Yep. Just ONE. The remaining 20 plus nukes he received were all delivered by the AI.

The scene is freaking amusing.. its like he gets nuked and nuked continuosly and the mushroom cloud keeps appearing lol.

All the players, both human and AI, were defeated in the end due to Armageddon... something that will occur if too many nukes are fired...

Therefore, nukes are very dangerous items.

I think my natural element should be water.

It's really a rainy day. Have been raining since this morning and it haven't stopped since.

It dampens my flaming efforts to start studying. As of now, I have yet to done anything constructive...

Ha.

I discovered a new way to pass my time; punching tennis balls and watch them get launched across the room. And if you are wondering, I was inspired by Major Alex Louis Armstrong. Actually realized that its quite fun to punch things and watch it fly around. It allows me to vent some of my frustration as well.

However, one drawback is that it actually hurts if you punch the tennis ball hard enough. And if you don't punch it hard, you won't feel the shuang-ness.

Perhaps I should get a pair of gauntlets.

Next up: Start playing with the lighter(or start rubbing sandpapers).

Just one hour ago, I was studying in the kitchen for my Maths paper later on in the afternoon. Half way through, I heard a slight "tap" behind me. So I turned around and...

-WHAT THE FUCK-

... a green grasshopper just landed on one of my cupboard door. The hair on my arms instantly rose up like needles and I can feel the goosebumps growing in my skin!

"What the hell! Its just an insect!" I thought to myself but I still can't overcome my fear... After awhile, I stood up and moved slowly, and I do mean slowly, to the living room - the safe zone.

The grasshopper was still on the door. I tried to stay calm, cool and collected while thinking of ways to chase the insect away. After awhile, I realized that I do not have any good ideas to chase it away.

"Wah lao its just a green insect lah, confirm got way to deal with it.." I thought to myself.

"Lets think logically - this is an insect which can fly... AHH IT FLIES!", immediately after this thought, my hair rose again and my goosebumps starts to build up once more. Heck. I hate flying insects.

All this while, I have been staring at the grasshopper, making sure that it does not move away without me knowing it where it movedto. Trust me, thats the last thing you want to happen when you are trapped with a FLYING insect in an enclosed area. I was still staring deeply at the insect, hoping that it will just go away when suddenly, the darn insect took flight - I got shocked and jumped like 1.5 metres backwards into the living room.

Fuck. How could I be manhandled by that puny little organism?
Needless to say, my goosebumps built up again...

That stupid grasshopper took flight and land at a spot that is just a few centimetres away from its original spot. Its like it is scaring me deliberately.
Damn.

After calming down, I finally thought of something; projectile weapons!
I found 3 rubber bands on my living room wheel-table and launched it at the grasshopper.

Shot 1... missed.

Shot 2..... missed.

Shot 3........ MISSED!!!

I have tons of rubber bands but they are all in the kitchen....

Then I realized that I could crush waste paper and hurl it at the cursed monster!

So I opened the drawer and found only 5 pieces of rough paper for my maths and physics workings... I used to have lots but I threw them into the recyling bag a few days ago...

I took aim and:

Shot 1.. missed

Shot 2... missed

Shot 3.... missed

Frustrated, I crush the remaining two papers together and hurl it at the monster.

shot 4....... MISSED!

Ah HECK. I suck at throwing things at things.

While thinking of what I can do next, my handphone rang and I found out later that it was Chia Seng... In this kind of situation, I need the pest removal service, not a maths pro...

Meanwhile, I found a piece of cardboard and held it in my hand. It was like my sword for fighting that heinous monster! But that sword is pretty useless if it cant strike the enemy. Still, I held it for assurance purposes.

"Wah LAO just go away lah bloody hell!" I murmured to myself. I was really desperate to get rid of the green thing.

Then that green thing took flight again, I was prepared for it this time, and it make a few rounds around the kitchen before landing on the wall opposite of the cupboard it was initially on. When it crawled onto the cable at the top of the wall, I was half hoping that it will get electrocuted. Of course, I am not psychic and it continued crawling along the cable.

I suddenly thought of a tool that would be very handy in these kind of situations - the electric racket! It actually looks like a badminton racket, except that the "net" on the racket are wires which will conduct electricity when you press the switch. Its used for electrocuting insects. I had one a few years ago but it became faulty and my mom threw it away. I regretted not asking her to get a new one.

While I am deep in my thoughts, the green thing took flight again and I got freaked out(fuck) because it sort of flew towards me.

Then, the worst thing happened to me.

I lost track of the damn creature!!!!!!!!!

I saw it flew towards the ground but it wasnt there when I bent down to survey the ground. And I dont see it anywhere thats visible to me either.

"What the FUCK!" I thought to myself.

I am in really deep shit now. I've got three options.

1) Go to sleep immediately and hope that the thing will just go away.

2) Return to the kitchen desk and continue studying, ignoring its presence.

3) Track the damn thing out and destroy it.

I chose option 3 and after bracing myself, I took a step across the boundary and entered the danger zone.

I pushed the chair nearest to me with my leg and nothing green flew out from it. So I took that chair and placed it in the living room. I did the same to the remaining two chairs and the green thing was not hidding in either of them.

Then, I roughly remembered that it briedly flew in the direction towards my pencil case. So I went into the living room, took an umbrella and went back to the kitchen and poked my pencil case with the umbrella.

Nothing flew out.

I was really worried by now because that green thing could now be anywhere! I was already half-way into the kitchen and would suffer serious damage if the enemy were to ambush me. Worse, it could attack me from the flank and cut off my only route of escape. If that really happens, I figure that I will just have to lock myself in the toilet and wait for dad to wake up next morning and chase the cursed creature away.

Luckily for me, I dont have to spend the night with my family's shit.

I saw the target crawling on the side of the refrigerator and it appears to have not seen me yet. So, I grabbed my sword quickly and slapped it against the green thing.

*PIAK*.

The enemy fell on to the ground.

YES! I have successfully disabled the enemy's movement! Thats a huge victory!!!

The enemy has been eradicated.

Yes. Finally, I've gotten rid of the dang green thing.

Upon inspecting the corpse, I realised that it is really a grasshopper which I suspected initially. Man I am a genius.

I scooped the green pulp up and dump it into the rubbish chute.

All is peaceful once more and I resumed my studies.



Blistering barnacles!!! I can watch all the sick and psychotic horror films along in the entire cinema and yet, I get so freaked out by a tiny green entity thats 100 times(or maybe more) smaller than me.

Tua Pek Gong, I am such a chicken-wuss......

One of these days, I am gonna overcome my fear and before I do, I am gonna get myself a brand new electric racket.

"Let me ask you this as an Iraqi that if you were to pass a death sentence on Saddam, remember that he is a military men and should be killed by a firing squad; not by hanging like some common criminal." Saddam said to the judge... He has been defiant till the end.

Mom's away in China now for a vacation, leaving me and my dad at home...

Teleportation

Ever since the wheel was invented more than 5,000 years ago, people have been inventing new ways to travel faster from one point to another. Yet each of these forms of transportation share the same flaw: They require us to cross a physical distance, which can take anywhere from minutes to many hours depending on the starting and ending points.

But what if there were a way to get you from your home to the supermarket without having to use your car, or from your backyard to the International Space Station without having to board a spacecraft? Teleportation to the rescue!

Teleportation involves dematerializing an object at one point, and sending the details of that object's precise atomic configuration to another location, where it will be reconstructed. What this means is that time and space could be eliminated from travel -- we could be transported to any location instantly, without actually crossing a physical distance.

In 1998, physicists at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), along with two European groups, turned the IBM ideas into reality by successfully teleporting a photon, a particle of energy that carries light. The Caltech group was able to read the atomic structure of a photon, send this information across 1 meter (3.28 feet) of coaxial cable and create a replica of the photon. As predicted, the original photon no longer existed once the replica was made.

The most recent successful teleportation experiment took place on October 4, 2006 at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Eugene Polzik and his team teleported information stored in a laser beam into a cloud of atoms. According to Polzik, "It is one step further because for the first time it involves teleportation between light and matter, two different objects. One is the carrier of information and the other one is the storage medium". The information was teleported a little more than half a meter, as opposed to the minute distances achieved in previous experiments.

Unfortunately, teleportation seems to be possible only in the realm of the quantum.

For a person to be transported, a machine would have to be built that can pinpoint and analyze all of the 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms that make up the human body. That's more than a trillion trillion atoms. This machine would then have to send this information to another location, where the person's body would be reconstructed with exact precision. Molecules couldn't be even a millimeter out of place, lest the person arrive with some severe neurological or physiological defect.

If such a machine were possible, it's unlikely that the person being transported would actually be "transported." It would work more like a fax machine -- a duplicate of the person would be made at the receiving end, but with much greater precision than a fax machine. But what would happen to the original? One theory suggests that teleportation would combine genetic cloning with digitization.

In this biodigital cloning, tele-travelers would have to die, in a sense. Their original mind and body would no longer exist. Instead, their atomic structure would be recreated in another location, and digitization would recreate the travelers' memories, emotions, hopes and dreams. So the travelers would still exist, but they would do so in a new body, of the same atomic structure as the original body, programmed with the same information.


Hmm not a very reliable way to travel if you ask me. I wouldnt want a machine to be handling with my genetic data. Besides, I would lose my original body and my feelings and all would be re-programmed!!! Do I simply just become another pile of ones and zeroes? Heck I would no longer be the original me anymore... But then again, if it doenst feel any different to be in the new me and the old me... then why not? It sure is cool anyway, disappearing from one place and re-appearing in another instantly.

Nonetheless, still prefer the old school methods - buses, MRTs, taxis etc etc.

PAIN

Pain is an unpleasant feeling which may be associated with actual or potential tissue damage and which may have physical and emotional components. According to the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), one should distinguish between pain and nociception.

Despite its unpleasantness, pain is an important part of the existence of humans and other animals; in fact, it is vital to survival. Pain encourages an organism to disengage from the noxious stimulus associated with the pain. Preliminary pain can serve to indicate that an injury is imminent, such as the ache from a soon-to-be-broken bone. Pain may also promote the healing process, since most organisms will protect an injured region in order to avoid further pain. People born with congenital insensitivity to pain usually have short life spans, and suffer numerous ailments such as broken bones, bed sores, and chronic infection.

Interestingly, the brain itself is devoid of nociceptive tissue, and hence cannot experience pain. Thus, a headache is not due to stimulation of pain fibers in the brain itself. Rather, the membrane surrounding the brain and spinal cord, called the dura mater, is innervated with pain receptors, and stimulation of these dural nociceptors (pain receptors) is thought to be involved to some extent in producing headache pain. Some evolutionary biologists have speculated that this lack of nociceptive tissue in the brain might be because any injury of sufficient magnitude to cause pain in the brain has a sufficiently high probability of being fatal that development of nociceptive tissue therein would have little to no survival benefit.


FEAR

It's dark out, and you're home alone. The house is quiet other than the sound of the show you're watching on TV. You see it and hear it at the same time: The front door is suddenly thrown against the door frame.

Your breathing speeds up. Your heart races. Your muscles tighten.

A split second later, you know it's the wind. No one is trying to get into your home.

For a split second, you were so afraid that you reacted as if your life were in danger, your body initiating the fight-or-flight response that is critical to any animal's survival. But really, there was no danger at all. What happened to cause such an intense reaction? What exactly is fear?

Fear is a chain reaction in the brain that starts with a stressful stimulus and ends with the release of chemicals that cause a racing heart, fast breathing and energized muscles, among other things, also known as the fight-or-flight response. The stimulus could be a spider, a knife at your throat, an auditorium full of people waiting for you to speak or the sudden thud of your front door against the door frame.

The brain is a profoundly complex organ. More than 100 billion nerve cells comprise an intricate network of communications that is the starting point of everything we sense, think and do. Some of these communications lead to conscious thought and action, while others produce autonomic responses. The fear response is almost entirely autonomic: We don't consciously trigger it or even know what's going on until it has run its course.

All of these physical responses are intended to help you survive a dangerous situation by preparing you to either run for your life or fight for your life (thus the term "fight or flight"). Fear -- and the fight-or-flight response in particular -- is an instinct that every animal possesses.

OK!

My General Paper today was not really up to my expectation. The only thing I can do now is pray that I can manage a border-line pass(sounds cheap but hey, its still a pass!). Or I could also pray that the airplane thats transporting our papers to London crash midway, resulting in the loss of all our GP papers but not the death of the pilots. This way, the innocents would be spared and we might be able to retake GP!!!

I tried to chase away my GP blues and ended up watching YouTube, which is quite effective I must say because I watched some crappy stuff like Hardo Gay that got me laughing like an ass haha....

Then, I suddenly found it. It just came so suddenly that I almost can't believe my eyes. I have seen alot of videos in the past about muscular ladies, yes ladies and yes, they do exist. Most of them have the kind of bod that a guy, at least me, would
die for - six pacs, huge chests etc etc. However, despite their hot bod, their faces seems to be erm... abit the unique. Its like after attaining a male physique, these ladies seemed to also take on the appearance of a male.... you know what I am talking about.

What I am looking for is a woman with a fantastic physique and can still be an eye-candy. Yes, I do have a fancy for such ladies - who can stand those cute little itzie bitzie girls that always act cute all the time.. there are some exceptions though.

Anyways, yes, I finally found it. A woman, with a great physique and great face! Her name is Johanna Dejager. The weight she lifts her weight will put people like tedio to shame. and me as well haha..... But I whole-heartedly believe that shes hotter than somebody with the same name as Natasha Beddingfield who some guy I know dreams of running with on the school track.....
