Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh~

What a good sleep I had. I think I slept for more than 8 hours for once in a long long time (2 months actually). And waking up from sufficient sleep feels good. You won't feel groggy, you won't feel lazy, you won't feel sick and you won't try to go back to sleep and realize that you can't really sleep anymore. Then you will have to drag your pathetic ass from your bed and so on and so forth. I guess it must be the snow. Nice weather, good to sleep.

Since we are all awake let us read abit of the news like how the Americans do at their kitchen table in the morning.

A human rights commission and independent elections department are not priorities for Singapore, the prime minister said Friday.

He said whether Singaporeans have jobs, security and a future are more important than the number of commissions in the country.

"And I think by all those measures including by human rights measures we are not doing badly," Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong told the Foreign Correspondents' Association of Singapore.

Singapore's less economically developed neighbours Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines all have national rights commissions.

Singapore's Elections Department, which prepares for parliamentary elections, is under the prime minister's office.

"I would not treat these as urgent priorities which we have to worry about," Lee said in response to a question.

"We have institutions and commissions which we need," he said.

Since independence in 1965, Singapore has grown from a Third World country to an Asian economic powerhouse. But critics say this has come at a price, in the form of restrictions on freedom of speech and political activity.

Singapore belongs to the 10-nation Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which is expected to put in place a regional human rights body next year.

I don't have anything in particular I want to comment on. Its the same old stuff over and over. I guess we are really not doing too badly. But please give me a job won't you Mr. Prime Minister?

Mr Barack Obama is set to rule the most powerful country on Earth in this coming January while at the same time, Mr George Walker Bush will be removed from the Throne of Thrones. He will never be able to sit on it again (unless he stage a coup or something) but hey, I guess he shouldn't have any regrets. He sat on it for 8 years and created his own fair share of problems and now someone else is going to clean up for him. He should feel contented. I guess his legacy will make good bedtime stories for his grandchildren in future.

You know boy, when grandpa was young, I went to kick some ass in the Middle East.. they are all evil people and like Rambo - you know Rambo right - I walloped them so hard that they have to beg for mercy. yeah I am a hero... noticed anything similar?

I have been navigating through uncharted territory. I do not know what to expect nor do I know what I might end up with. Follow your heart, some might say and I agree. Sometimes, there are things which seems to be illogical but yet, people still do it. Sometimes, it is just not possible to act based on logical analysis. Sometimes, we have to follow our instincts, our feelings. But should we follow with rationality? Or should we be led around blindly?

I should just send a resume to CIA and see what they will say.

This is German Chancellor Angela Merkel back in 2005 when she just won the elections.

This is her during the recent G20 Summit to alluviate the global economic crisis.

Quite a stark difference, don't you think? Is it so difficult to rule over Germany? I thought its quite a peaceful country... or maybe she is stressed out over which car she should drive to work - BMW, Audi or Mercedes Benz?

But I guess Singapore must be REALLY easy to rule. Singaporeans are generally quite dormant, except for a few complaints here and there. If there is anything, the mere verbal threat of a lawsuit will shut most of us up... except for a few people who likes to eat CHEE Chong Fan. After all, our leaders still look as young as ever!

Two Championships, one Champion.

Kamikaze Superintendent will face off against Bobby Lashley and John Cena in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat Hell In A Cell match for the Intercontinental and WWE Championships. During this epic moment of WWE history, one man's destiny will be changed forever!

Who will he be?

Needless to say, the answer is pretty obvious.

*Due to the sensitive nature of the picture I have posted initially, I am advised to censor it to prevent reprisal actions from our all powerful garment. But I have reproduced it in a more subtle manner below.*

The Kamikaze Superintendent is a zealous Kamikaze who will go all out to destroy his enemies, even if it means dying together with them.

And as his name suggests, he holds the rank of Superintendent.

With his thirst for destruction and high rank, it is no doubt that Kamikaze Superintendent will be victorious! So the answer to my above question is still pretty obvious.

Grrrr I sat my butt SORE from 3pm to 11pm today hoping to finish my Titanic but people count might as well let heaven count, I couldn't finish building it. There were many many many many many many parts to fix and most of these parts were abhorrently tiny..... and I have to use my hands to handle them. But I realised that I have rather nimble fingers hahaha. I guess I am ready to master the consummate skill of One Sun Finger!

*Ahem*

Also, I forgot that I did not have Orange paint. I need it to paint the funnels. And my Gold paint is sort of turning into Metallic Orange. I wonder if its due to me storing it for too long or the gold inside the paint is actually fake gold. Hmmm... But at least the ship is 70% complete. Think I will complete it tomorrow after getting my Orange and Gold paints.

My USS Nimitz will have a friend soon... And for some weird reason, I feel that Titennis sounds better than Titanic.

Right. A random funny picture which my mom took a long long time ago. In fact, its so ancient that I don't even remember when it was taken! But to think about it now, I believe it was fate that "she" was captured in the picture as well. And check out the trailer for the sequel to Titanic, Titanic 2.

November 29, 2008

Today's banging session was perfect, especially with 5 guys doing it together. Munchkins wasn't half bad too and I even got the chance to change my sex just so to complete my combo attacks against my fellow spies! We each got our chance to SABOH each other and we forged BAD BLOOD against one another ahahaha. One thinig to note: Russian spies are damn inbar! Well, I am not surprised for we are talking about the Great Motherland here.

Met up with my long lost friend Kenene who was once in a camp next to me when I was still a cadet trainee. He is still the same as usual; silent but has a deadly bite, same specs, same voice, same berms and same shoes! The only thing that has changed about him is his complexion.. but hey, like I should be the one to talk haha. Other than the card games, it was talking cock session. And cock we really talked. LTA is still as shitty as ever with his irrelevant subjects. But the LTA has a nice room! That bastard he would have an almost perfect panoramic view of any space satellies falling into Singapore or any shooting stars that happen to past by us. I so really want a room like his. Grrr...

So we banged and munched and banged somemore till the time has come for us to part. Some idiot tried to give us a farewell speech but I stopped him before he can proceed any further. Oh come on, no need to be so formal! Its not like we won't be meeting each other ever again LOL.

I took a bus back to CJ and parted ways with Grand Master Del Monte there, who will be journeying to the Far East (Tampines actually). It was close to 2340hrs already. So I thought I might as well walk home; its not very far anyway. I walked down the long stretch of Whitley Road, a path which I used to take when I was a student at CJ. Then I traversed through the streets of Balestier, stopping periodically to catch a glimpse of old men hugging young woman outside Hotel 81s and Fragrance Hotels. It took me about 30 minutes to reach home.

It was a nice leisurely walk. The night is young and the weather is cool. I was immersed in my own thoughts though, but not to the extent that I wasn't paying attention to the traffic lights and oncoming traffic. We should not be sad because something ended, but rather we should feel happy because it happened. All those happily ever after stories are just... stories. Fairy tales are merely just fantasies. It would be best if we WTF? The one hour special Naruto episode will only be out next week? That means no Naruto for me this week! WHY LIKE THAT?

November 28, 2008

I sent a mail to Kelly Services this afternoon. Hopefully they will reply me ASAP on any job vacancies which are suitable for me. No, its not a food catering company, its a recruitment agency. A better one than Recruit Express, so says my gay partner. Better or not, I don't care. As long as they can give me a job, I will take their side. Otherwise, I might start doing something desperate to earn money. (Hint hint: Cockroach mulling in a brutal manner)

I will be going down to a certain 2LT's house later on in the day to play geeky card games with the usual suspects. But the arrangement was made last minute and some people have yet to tell me whether they are going or not. Frankly speaking, I don't really want to go. I want to stay at home and wait for phone calls from either recruitment agencies. I think the guilt of slacking at home for close to 3456000 seconds (thats 40 days) is rearing its ugly head on me. However, a promise is a promise. One word come out, four horses want to chase also cannot. But promises are meant to be... broken aren't they?

No matter. Lets just go with the flow. Who knows the Americans might mistakenly fire their Proton Collider in our direction tomorrow and down, down and under we go! Then I can forget about the card games and meet them for suntanning session down there instead.

Should the Americans really unleash their ultimate weapon of massively gargantuan destruction, even if by mistake, the Russians will definitely take the opportunity to accuse the Americans of Imperialism! Next, we might see the two superpowers at WAR with the Russians being the victor and ruler of Earth at the end of it. This is it, I am leaving town tonight. I need to make sure I can live through tomorrow to witness the coronation of Mother Russia!

November 27, 2008

MOTHER RUSSIA!
A rainy night. Perfect weather to sleep. Perfect weather for me. The serenity of the night coupled with the temperate rain and gentle breeze creates a very soothing ambience which I like~ I should probably move to Las Vegas where the city never sleeps and I can hang out all night long enjoying the music of the night.

If I have a car now, I will drive to some deserted place where I can bask in the open arms of the night. Deserted so that there will be an element of the supernatural. Not that I want to get possessed or what but I like that kind of suspense. Thats what make the night so alluring, so tempting. Nobody's afraid of broad daylight anyway.

Do you dare to toy with temptation? If you do, please eat the new Wall's Magnum chocolate ice-cream! I really dunno why they have to shoot such a suggestive ad to sell their ice cream. Don't they know that kids love ice-cream more than adult men and lesbian women?

Oh and we saw a Dilbert the Board Game as well. Basically its about office politics. But one line on the game box caught my attention and it set me thinking whether if its true or not.

Useless people that can't seem to aid organizational growth are placed in a position which will minimize the damage they do to the company - the MANAGEMENT.

How true is that? I will leave it up to you.

November 25, 2008

SO, to start being a useful person, I helped to sweep and mop my house today. Not bad, good exercise. Then for even more exercise, I went to swim - for the first time in 2 weeks. I realised my stamina dropped considerably. The distance which I usually need 20 minutes to complete now takes me half an hour. No matter. I will just have to start all over again. Then in the evening, Tit jio-ed me to midpoint orchard to buy some card games. Not poker cards. Card games like UNO. I didn't know he has a geek side as well. Anyway, when we enter the shop (its called Paradigm Infinitum), we felt as if we entered Geekland. The shopkeeper himself is one hardcore geek - he actually likes to play a game which needs 1 hour just to set up and the game play can last up till a minimum of 8 hours. Whew. What can I say?

So we browsed around the stall for about 1 hour and then Tit had his eyes set on two games - Munchkins and Boomtown. However, he is undecided which one to buy so he went to ask the shopkeeper. The extremely over-zealous shopkeeper then started giving us his 1001 tips on how to choose the games which we like most. The session took around half an hour I would say. Maybe shorter. But somewhere around there. Its not like I am not appreciative for his efforts but erm... I guess its more than what we ask for haha.

So in the end, Tit decided on Munchkins as the players can saboh each other. The game goes like this:

- up to 5 players can play. each player starts at level 1.
- we need to gain level by fighting monsters. the player who reaches level 10 first wins.
- in the process, other players can hinder you by using certain card abilities against you. in other words SABOH

That sums up the gameplay. Cant wait to start playing it. My master geek fren says its damn fun. And when the master says something, it is most definitely true. All Hail the Grand Master Del Monte! *kneels down and pray*

anyway, on my way home at orchard mrt station, i was waiting for the train when some auntie, ok maybe not auntie, lady perhaps came out of nowhere and asked me how to spell "proud". I can see that she was typing an sms on her phone. I told her that she shouldnt use proud because it is too common and suggested to her to use comtemptuous instead; C-O-M-T-E-M-P-T-U-O-U-S. She gave me a stoned look and walked away. But I can see her typing something though.

NO. I am crapping again haha. I just spelled P-R-O-U-D for her and she thanked me and walked away with a smile. A pretty wierd encounter if you ask me. But why did she asked me? I am sure her handphone's dictionary gotta have the word. Hmmm... maybe shes trying to flirt AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Nvm me.
Singapore PM to earn almost 2 million dollars -- after pay cut

Agence France-Presse - 11/24/2008 12:05 PM GMT
http://www.msn.com.sg/

Singapore's prime minister is to lose 19 percent of his salary because of the global economic turmoil but will still earn almost two million US dollars a year, a report said Monday.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, his cabinet, and other senior administrators will see their pay cut by up to 19 percent next year because of salary components linked to the city-state's economic growth, The Straits Times website reported.

Singapore is in recession and the government said the economy could contract next year.
"In view of the clouded economic outlook and the likelihood that salaries will be lower next year, the government has decided to defer the January 2009 salary adjustment," the report quoted the Public Service Commission as saying.

The Commission could not be immediately reached for comment.

With the pay cut, Lee will earn 3.04 million dollars (1.99 million US) a year, while ministers will see an 18 percent drop to 1.57 million dollars, The Straits Times said.

Rare public fury erupted in April 2007 when the government announced salary hikes for politicians and senior officials. In response, Lee said the government would pay him the higher salary but he would "donate" the increase "to suitable good causes" for five years.

The White House said at the time that US President George W. Bush got paid 400,000 dollars per year for doing his job.

Singapore officials have said high salaries are necessary to recruit and retain talented individuals, and to prevent corruption.

Teo Chee Hean, the minister in charge of the civil service, said the government last year introduced the mechanism linking a significant proportion of senior civil servants' salaries to economic performance, a system which is working as planned.

"Public sector salaries follow the market up and down," The Straits Times quoted him as saying. "This mechanism allows salaries to respond more rapidly to market conditions."

Lets see. $3 million a year works out to $250000 a month and an average of $8333 a day. If we go further, our PM earns $374.20 per hour. Where in the world can we find a job that pays by the hundreds every hourly? You know where.

See, thats why I was comtemplating whether or not to join the civil service. You serve in the glory of the nation, its a more or less stable career (unless someone comes along to invade us) and once you reach a certain position, you can start practicing the art of Taichi. Above all, the job pays you good money. Heh. Go brandon go! I am rooting for you. You have become a potential candidate for the position of CP!
I went to sleep at 10pm yesterday thinking that its about time for me to start sleeping at normal hours instead of wee hours. When I woke up again, I thought it was tuesday morning already. I checked the time, it was tuesday morning all right... but its 12am. What felt like a 12 hours sleep is only a 2 hours nap. Damn. But what to do? I have been perpetually sleeping at wee hours for the past month. Obviously it will take time for my body to adjust.

But I am starting to feel the side effects already --- feeling lethargic even during the day, going to sleep between 2am-4am and waking up at 9am - 10am, no motivation to do constructive work when awake, can't sleep in the afternoon even if i wanted to, drop in neurological processing and generally just behaving like a bear during hibernation. In other words, I am not getting enough sleep!

If only I could tweak my biological clock like how I can adjust my alarm clock. That would have save me alot of trouble! But if thats the case, people will be hoping to replace damaged body parts like how they repair damaged machines with spare parts. Haha. Not a bad idea really.

While most others are having Monday blues in their offices, I am playing RED ALERT 3 at home! Its a fun game. Really. It will be even more fun if I can play online with friends. So, go get a copy of the game and lets play online together!

The day of the Shogun has arrived!
All hail the Great Motherland!
1 month after I cleared leave and 10 days after I ORDed - I am still jobless. Money's no longer coming in but yet it continues to go out. Not to mention that our world class ever almighty garment still owns me half a month of pay. Its not like I didn't try looking for a job. I did and I even went down to the recruitment agency for an interview. But that was 10 days ago and I still haven't gotten any news from them. Probably raymond was right. Its the recession now. DBS retrenched 900 and NOL, 1000. What makes me think I am better than these 1900 white collar workers? My insanely hostile attitude towards that Land of Pigs perhaps. Whatever it is, I need to get a job, pronto. Otherwise I might end up eating myself literally.

My "G" button just popped out of my keyboard.
GGGGGGGGGgggggggggggggggggGGGGGGGGGgggggggggg
ok. thank goodness the button is still working.

the world continues to move even while I am still at a standstill, gradually becoming a Singapore Idle. I must make haste. Its a canine-makan-canine world.

A movie series that has span 22 films over 48 years. If it was any other movie, the audience would probably be bored to death by the never-ending clinche plot (if, there are any audiences) and the director would most probably be paying for the production out of his own pockets.

But its a James Bond movie we are talking about here. Like a fine bottle of wine, the longer you keep it, the mellower it gets. James Bond is a legend. Legends live on forever.

The latest installment of the franchise, Quantum of Solace only gets better. The plot revolves around Bond hunting down the culprits responsible for the death of his lover, Vesper (from Casino Royale) and how he matures as person during this process. Memsmerized by the film, I did a brief research on former James Bond movies and was surprised to discover that Pierce Bronsnan was not the first James Bond.

Patience. Remember what you are waiting for.
Time is on my side...

November 09, 2008

I've been looking too hard
I've been waiting too long
Sometimes i don't know what i will find
I only know it's a matter of time
All right.

I am feeling somewhat saddistic tonight so I decided to watch Saw4 (UNRATED) which I dl-ed a few days ago. I was expecting alot of gore but it turns out that the 4th installment of the movie is more on expanding the very-chim plot of Jigsaw and his legacy than depicting the gruesome deaths of his victims (those who does not cherish their lives). Nonetheless, whats Saw without gore?

If you like, you might want to consider these new methods of suicide....

So, the film started with an extremely graphic autopsy of somebody. It is truly gruesome. Everything is shown in full details; the incision of the head and chest, removal of the skull, removal of the brain, peeling apart the layers of skin etc. The DVD quality of my movie made it even clearer. The white lump being removed is the stomach.

This woman was actually killed in Saw 3 but they explained more about her in this installment. See the claw like thing with pieces of meat hanging on it on the left side? There are actually 2 of these claws and they were initially attached to the woman's ribcage; one on the left and another on the right. When she failed her "test", the two claw just ripped her ribcage out. Ouch!

This is a Chinese classic. Five horse split body. Except that they Jigsaw did not use any horses in this case. The metal structures around the bed is meant to be attached to the victim's limbs. The victim's head is also attached to an "eye digger" device. In this case, the victim has a choice; he may sacrifice his eyes using the eye digger device in exchange for his life. Otherwise, once 60 seconds is up, the metal structures will automatically rip him apart.

As you can see, the victim tried but failed to sacrifice both eyes within 60 seconds... he only managed one. Anyway, the officer is not talking to the victim in the first picture. He is bending down to observe his lifeless corpse. See if you can find the hands and legs.

This, I must say, is a really innovative way of killing. The metal spikes in their bodies are pierced in such a way that they pass through vital artery lines in the men's body but non-vital parts in the women's. In order to survive, the woman just need to pull out the spikes one by one and let the men bleed to death immediately. After that, she will be free to escape. Otherwise, both of them can just stand there and slowly bleed to death together. The men is something like a sacrificial piece, whatever the women decides, he will still die.

The picture tells a thousand words. Use your imagination.

At the end of the show, I was at a lost. I totally lost track of what is going on. It is really chim. Saw4 tries to explain more of Jigsaw's intention but the knowledge of what transpired in Saw3, Saw2 and maybe Saw1 is required before you can understand Saw4. As a matter of fact, there is a scene in Saw4 which is the beginning of a scene in Saw3; they are occurring concurrently. I would not have catch that if I didn't read the plot on Wikipedia after watching the movie.

Saw5 is coming out. Hopefully it won't be as chim as Saw4.

People always say hope is what get us through the most difficult moments of our lives. Nonsense.

Reality isn't so kind. Things do not always go the way you want them to. Have too high an expectation and you will be smacked hard in your face when reality strikes. So keep your hopes low. It would be less painful that way. Although I can put it that way, it is still in human nature to hope for the best. We may deny something but deep down, we know that we yearn for it.

I would often paint a perfect picture for myself. I would tell myself "I can do it", "Things will go according to plan" and the likes to console myself. That was the hope I gave myself. I truly hoped and believed that I can do it. Then, the cruel hands of Fate came and ripped my picture to shreds, dashing my hope once and for all. The feeling of dejection that comes with the destruction is too excruciating to bear. I will realize how naive I am to have such thoughts of success.

It really hurts to be smacked in the face. Really. But even though I have been smacked several times before, I still choose to hope for the best. Even now, when I know that chances are low.

How many more times must I be woken up from my dreams by the knock of Reality's hand?

You might have defeated me, but you now have an entire empire shouting for vengeance!

Hmmm, I wonder if I will ever get to say this line.
Having spent so much time idling at home, I have come to realise that my Imperialistic ambitions grows stronger with each passing day.

I already have everything planned out in my head.

I am going to make so much money that I can crumple many $10,000 bills and throw them at people for fun on a daily basis. With my unlimited wealth, I am going to sway and influence and ultimately control a certain very powerful country. Once I am in control, I am going to establish close diplomatic relations with some other powerful countries as well. When I have these countries under my thumb, I am going to find some way to merge them all together to create my own empire - the Scarlet Moon Empire. Of course, I will crown myself the Emperor. Once everything is in place, I am going to get my war mahine rolling.

First off, to quench my insatiable appetite for durians and more durians, I am going to invade and conquer a certain durian producing country. After which, I am going to gather the entire populace of that country and ship them off somewhere to be used as guinea pigs for my weapons testing etc. I will then turn that entire country into a gigantic durian plantation. OMG. I can't wait for my endless supply of durians.

Once I have my fill of durians I will start conquering the world. At the end of the day, my empire will encompass the entire Earth. Once that is done, I can proudly hold my head up high and declare that the Sun never sets on the Scarlet Moon Empire!

But, even though I might be the most powerful man by then, it will definitely get boring after sometime. So, I want some challenge. Somewhere in my vast empire, a hero will emerge to overthrow my regime. Eventually, he will gather enough manpower to fight me and in some epic final battle, I will be defeated.

During my final moments, with the bullets from his Carbine in my body, I will tell this hero:

"Well done. You may have defeated me but now, you have an entire empire shouting for vengeance!" and then I will "Mwahahahaha" to death.

After that, my empire will crumble and there will be many many uprisings in different lands. Soon, Earth will be split up into many different nations again.

End of story.

I will go down in history as the first and ONLY ONE man to ever conquer Earth. Sweet.
I also get to say my line and I get my durians too. No other better way to end my life.

With that said, its about time I stop dreaming and start working!

My script for tomorrow:

Hello everyone. How time flies. A year ago, I was on Pulau Tekong digging sanitary holes during my field camp. After that I underwent several months of police training at HTA and then here I am today, attending this ORD ceremony with all of you.

I am Cheng Jin and I am the OC Security. I am sure you have seen me around at one point or another in the division. My main role is to supervise the daily operations of the DSU officers.
This OC Security posting is actually a new posting for the OCTs. It is one of the several new frontline postings which are given to us in addition to the usual staff postings. In essence, we are the running pilot trials for these new postings.

To be a supervisor is something totally new for me because I never held any leadership position back when I was in school. I did not work any outside jobs before as well. So I was rather apprehensive when I was posted here. I do not know where I should start from. It was all Ground Zero for me. Fortunately for me, I have a very experienced colleague sitting next to me in the office. Our DSO Lawrence was formerly the OC Security way before me. He showed me the ropes and will assist me to solve any problems which I ran into. He is something like the behind the scenes man, supporting me from the dark. Then there is also my boss, ASP Ben who will drop me a couple of pointers every now and then as well.

Being a supervisor is definitely not easy. I must manage my men well so that they can keep the operations going. I need to deal with issues such as their welfare, morale as well as to look after those officers that are not so well off at home. Furthermore, the NS environment within my unit makes matters more challenging. Because all my officers are NSFs, I cannot choose who I want. Whatever Head PNS posts to my unit, I will have to take them in. Good or bad, willing or unwilling, they have all become my DSU officers. It is then my responsibility to do whatever I need to do to make them valuable assets to my unit.

Other than managerial skills, I also learned about the security system of our division, such as card access, CCTV just to name a few. The knowledge of these security systems are useful skills which might be helpful to me in future.

One of the more important lessons which I have learned is the responsibility which I shoulder as a supervisor. As a supervisor, I need to answer to my superiors and I have to be accountable for my subordinate’s actions. Sometimes, I may be given a demanding task. At times, my subordinates may give me problems. Whatever it is, I will need to solve the problems one way or the other. Of course, I am not saying that all superiors are mean and all subordinates are problematic. With the small trove of experience which I have accumulated over the past year, I believe I will be able to tackle any problems which I may face in future more effectively.

With that said, it was an enriching year I spent in Delta.

May I now invite all of you to stand up, look yourselves in the mirror and FUCK YOUR FACE!

Well said Mr Clarkson. This is the irrefutable truth!

哦 人类!能够将世人弄瞎的爱到底是何等之物?
(O mortals! What is love that blinds beyond life on Earth?)

Fate, how can you be so cruel?

You brought her into my life. When we set eyes upon each other for the first time, we knew that we were the right ones for each other. Since that fateful day, we had many joyous moments together. Our Love grows deeper and deeper with each passing day. Those days I spent with her were the happiest days of my life. I felt so fortunate. I felt that I was in paradise. I will walk with her through the endless flow of time, ageing gracefully and dying peacefully eventually. Nothing else matters... as long as I have her by my side.

Just when I am about to pledge my everlasting promise to look after her you took her away from me. FATE! How could you be such a bastard?

Why bring her to me when you will take her away from me again? Why? Is it so that you can watch me spend the remaining of my life in agony? Is it because you derive pleasure from others' sorrow? What gives you the right to do what you want with our lives!

Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! How could you!

OK. Please don't be mistaken. This is just a short anecdote I thought of to summarize "Nights of Rodanthe".

It - is - a - very - loving - movie.

Lovers are strongly advised to catch this movie. It will strengthen the love between you and him/her. Also look out for Richard Gere's smooth silky silver hair ('',)

"Fustuarium" was a Roman military form of execution by clubbing, which was imitated by later armies.

Since laxness on guard duty or desertion could endanger the entire corps and even the Roman state, a slacking soldier was liable to be found as unworthy of the uniform, stripped, and beaten to death with sticks by his comrades, whose trust he had betrayed, as a collective exercise of ultimate discipline (power!) against what could be considered as passive equivalents of high treason.

So cruel. No wonder the Roman Army managed to conquer half of Europe. Singapore? Wait long long. We don't get occupied very good already!
Money is the root of all Evil. Money makes the world goes round. Cash is King. Money is not everything but you are nothing without money.

These are the most common descriptions about money which I've heard since young.
Money money money.

It is really such a strange thing.
I remembered when I was young, I did not worry about money. Not at all. My parents were the ones keeping the book for me. They will decide what I need to buy and what I don't. Of course, as a child then, I simply obeyed my parents.

Then I started schooling and my parents started giving me allowances everyday. I had more freedom to choose how I want to spend my money now. Is it that bowl of wanton mee to exorcise my hunger during recess or that pack of trading cards after school to duel my friends with? I don't know if its just me or everyone else but once we have the priviledge to choose, I tend to become unsure of what I want.

That is when I realise that I do not have enough.

If I get this, I won't be able to get that. Maybe I should just get both of them but wait, I do not have enough money. When I don't have enough, I will wish that I have more.

But it is alright. Things are still manageable back then. After all, the things which I wanted as a schooling teenager were not exhorbitantly expensive. With a thrifty mindset and some coaxing skills, sometimes I can still get what I want.

As I grow older, I began to feel that it is inappropriate to keep drawing allowances from my parents. It might sound embarassing but I only stopped taking money from my parents after JC. But it was only then that I understand that I should work for what I want. No more spoon-feeding. Time to get my ass to work. I am no longer a teenager.

Naturally, the things which I desire are becoming more expensive; cell phones, gaming consoles, branded stuff, good food, cars etc. With a minuscule amount of monthly income now (courtesy of the Singapore government), it is clear that I cannot satisfy what I want. This is when I understand the mojo of money; it fulfills your desires. Maybe not all, but definitely part of it.

However, like a double-edged sword, money, or rather the lack of it, can be the source of your woes too. During this past year, I have come to understand that you are nobody until you become somebody and one of the things that can make you a somebody is money. Lesser money not only means lesser material comfort but also changes your stature.

Oh would you look at that fellow. Look at those clothes he is wearing. Giordano? Hang Ten? No no, I bet it is some cheap stuff from a bargain store. He must be a poor fart! Ha ha!

I am sure you must have had such bad experience at one point of another in your life. You are being criticized for not being able to afford expensive things. In other words, for being un-wealthy. What is wrong with being a person who has an average income? Nothing! With all due respect, we are the backbone of our country's economy mind you! Sadly, the problem lies with our society. This society, with its Elites (you know, those people with many money and thinks they are the Oracle), is too quick to judge and will not hesistate to stereotype blindly. Suddenly, having a luck of money is no longer an individual's problem. Instead, it has become the society's. Then again, I guess it is the same everywhere else. So there is no point complaining.

So, I am going to work hard. Earn many money. And I really mean many. So much that I can burn $10,000 bills for fun. Seriously, it feels abyssmal to be belittled and criticized by others. I am going to show them!

Funny. When I was a kid, I used to believe that it is alright to live a mundane life. There is no need to bother about what others say. Everything is fine as long as I am happy. But that is no longer the case now. People really change.

Life as a kid is so much better. I do not have to worry about anything because my parents are always there to handle everything for me. I wish I could go back in time.

But everyone has to grow up eventually.

Our then Chief of Army Major General Desmond Kwek (now Chief of Defence Force, LG Kwek) only has 3 medals while the Army Chief of India has like... 20? Note that he has so many medals that they has to be stacked on one another. Even so, he still doesnt have enough space on his left chest for his medals; they "spill" over to his right chest.

Is India embroiled in so many wars that there are so many medals of recognition to be given out? I wonder. Are the medals "quantity" in nature or really are of some "quality"?

Even the guard standing at the background has more medals than our LG Kwek. I guess Indian soldiers are really man of valour that are willing to sacrifice their life for India.

What could be worse than being forced to swallow down a piece of your own shit?

When you are forced to swallow 2 pieces instead!

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~

October 13, 2008

As you go about your lives everyday, do take a break from your hectic schedule for a brief moment and consider the following:

There are 2 days in every week that we should not worry about. 2 days that should be kept from fear and apprehension.

The first is "yesterday", with its mistakes and flaws, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a certain act or take back a word we said. Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day which we should not worry about is "tomorrow", with its impossible adversaries, its burdens, its hopeful promises and poor performances. Tomorrow's Sun will rise either in splendour or behind a mask of clouds. Whichever it is, the Sun will still rise and until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow for it is yet unknown.

This leaves only one day; "today". Any person can fight the battle for just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down. The sadness comes not only from the experience of today but the remorse of bitterness which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.

Yes, sometimes life might throw unpleasant things at you but do keep in mind that you are not the only one at the receiving end. When reality bites, we must endure and move on. It is ok to feel sad but never be depressed. Ultimately, life still goes on. Keep that in mind when you go about completing your never-ending workload everyday.

I am too free now to be bothered with these kind of things.

Our Mr. Boon Boon has been elected the President of INTERPOL today in Saint Petersburg. We can hope to see more action during his 4 years tenure.

MOSCOW: Singapore Police Commissioner Khoo Boon Hui was elected the new president of INTERPOL on Friday, the international police organisation said.

Delegates chose Khoo at the end of the general assembly of the 187—country police organisation in Saint Petersburg, Russia, INTERPOL said in a statement on its website.

"As the organisation’s new president, I will build on the progress we have made thus far and ensure INTERPOL can better meet the demands of international policing in the 21st century," Khoo was quoted as saying in the statement.

"INTERPOL plays a critical role in international police co—operation by equipping police forces around the world with the necessary infrastructure, training and operational support to combat transnational crime and terrorism," said Khoo.

Khoo replaces South Africa’s chief of police Jackie Selebi, who resigned in January after prosecutors announced their intention to charge him over his links to a businessman accused of murder.

Khoo will serve a four—year term as president of INTERPOL’s executive committee, in addition to his existing duties as commissioner of the Singapore Police Force.

He will be based in Singapore.

INTERPOL, which stands for the International Criminal Police Organisation, has 187 member countries. It facilitates cross—border police cooperation and helps organisations fight international crime.

Fansubs:

OMG!

Pierce Brosnan has a really good voice! Even though he is already 50 years old and has a head full of white hair, he has not lost his flair. He still looks good and charismatic.

If only I can be like him when I am old!

Sheez, it took me 12 minutes to type the chinese passage and less than 1 minute to translate that passage into english. Am I still a bilingual person like the government(MOE) certified me to be? I wonder...

But I am definitely not trilingual. I haven't even master mandarin and english yet! When am I ever going to learn a third language! Am I going to keep procrastinating forever?

1st november is coming soon. whoever you are, please be warned!

Anyway, Mr Pierce Brosnan does have a good voice IMHO. Check out the song he sang in 妈妈咪呀(Mamma Mia) which I uploaded.

They survived with mothers who have no maids. Their moms cooked and cleaned while taking care of them at the same time. They took aspirin, fizzy drinks, candy floss, shaved ice with syrup and diabetes were rare. Salt added to Pepsi or Coke was remedy for fever. There were no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets at that time. And when they rode their bicycle, they had no helmets.

As children, they would ride with their parents on motorcycle/bicycles. Richer ones will be travelling in cars with no air bags. Riding in the back of a taxi was a special treat. They drank from taps and not bottles. They can spend hours under bright sunlight flying kites, never having to worry about UV rays, which never seem to affect them anyway. they went into jungles to catch spiders without worries about Aedes mosquitoes. 5 pebbles would be an endless game for them and a tennis ball alone will generate hours of fun for the young imaginative minds. They caught guppies in drains and canals and when it rains they swam there.

They share a bottle of soft drink with 4 friends and nobody worried about being unhygenic. They ate salty food, sweet food, very oily food, candies, bread with real butter and drank very sweet soft drinks, ice kachang but they were not overweight because they were always outside playing. They would leave home in the morning and play all day till the streetlights came on. Nobody was able to reach them all day and they were fine on their own. They would spends hours repairing their scooters/bicycles out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to realise that they forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, they learned to solve the problem.

There were no such things as Playstation, Nintendo DS, PSP, internet, PC, Xbox360, cable TV or handphones back them. Instead, they had real friends and they went out to find them. They fell down from trees, got cut, broke bones/teeth and they still continued their stunts. They never had birthday parties till they were 21. They rode bikes or just walked to theirr friend's house and just yelled for them. The idea of parents bailing them out when they broke the law was unheard of. Parents actually sided with the law back then.

This were how the children in the past led their lives.

Look at how our society has changed today. Are we getting too pampered already?
Parents rush to defend their children against the slightest form of accusation. They pamper their little emperors and empresses so that they can have a "good life". Is that really the case? Or are such treatments actually detrimental to the young ones?

Hardships are necessary ingredients for a successful life. I look forward to our next generation of leaders.

I am tired of hearing news which warns us about harmful side effects of certain products with the most recent one being plastic utensils.

Plastic contains BPA, a chemical which is suspected to cause brain dysfunction and mood disorders. Under curcumstances where you purchase a plastic container solely for decorative purposes, there is no way the BPA can get into your body. However, I believe most of us uses plastic containers to hold our food so that we can eat them. Heres the catch; food contains acids which will gradually break down the BPA inside the plastic and when the BPA goes into the food, we will ingest them together with whatever we are eating. Similarly, microwaving and washing plastic containers with detergent and warm water will also contribute to this BPA breaking down process.

SO, for our health's sake, we have been advised to use glass containers.

What now? Are we supposed to exchange all our plastic containers to glass containers? No, definitely not. These kind of reports come and go. Who knows, one year down the road, some researchers will realise that actually there are microscopic glass shards inside these glass containers which will cut up our organs if we ingest them. So we should switch to metal containers instead. No, wait! The metallic atoms inside the metal containers will gradually get detached one by one and get ingested by us. This increases the chance of CANCER! Stop using metal containers at once.

What then? Use our hands like those people living near the Indian Ocean? No! STOP! Our hands are full of bacteria. Stop killing yourself!

Goodness. This is endless.

First, chocolate is bad for our health. Suddenly, someone realises something and dark chocolate is good for our health. Alcohol is bad for health but red wine helps reduce the risk of cancer. We should drink as much water as possible as it is good for health. But now, drink too much and we risk getting water intoxicated. If something were to be harmful to us, then why market them in the first place? Isnt it just so that some megacorps can earn heaps upon heaps of fortune from consumerism?

Ultimately, if we have the intelligence and discipline to take everything in moderation, nothing will affect us. I just feel that these reports are being generated just so somebody can be recognized for their works. In other words, redundant information.

Seriously, why is our world so shallow?

October 06, 2008

Steven Spielberg's blockbuster "War of the Worlds" epitomizes the philosophical conundrum of Are we alone out there?

It depicts the existance of highly-advanced intelligent alien beings which inhabitated another part of the universe way before we humans existed on Earth. Then, for some unknown reason, the aliens invaded us in 2005 and almost brought about our extinction. Luckily, it is just a movie. We are not an endangered species yet.

So, are we really alone out there? Could there really be some other sentient beings living across our galaxy, trying to figure out whether are they really alone as well? What if, say, these sentient beings do exist but are not so far away from us actually. They might be living amongst ourselves, on the same planet; but on a different plane parallel to ours. I am talking about the Demonic World.

Aiya. Screw it. Just go watch Devil May Cry. It is a good anime and is only 12 episodes long. I am running out of creative juice.
NEVER EAT AT CAFE CARTEL AT MARINA SQUARE. THEIR SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS AND THE FOOD IS HORRENDOUSLY INEDIBLE. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE A TYPICAL SINGAPOREAN, YOU CAN GO AND EAT THEIR FREE FLOW BREAD.

The Eagle Eye is another movie dealing with an Artificial Intelligence that became so smart that it outwitted their creators and attempts to destroy humanity for a greater cause. In Eagle Eye's case however, the AI only wishes to destroy the existing American Government and replace the political vacuum with another administration which is more benevolent and credible(George Bush? Evil ruler? You must be crazy to think that!)

Ariah, the AI featured in Eagle Eye, believes that the current American Government has become corrupted and is no longer capable of executing its function in a rational manner. Therefore, in the name of the Constitution of the United States, Article 34, Section 147, Clause 12, Line 1: "When the Government fails to operate in the benefit of the Nation, the People will have the right to overthrow them", Ariah started plotting to kill the entire American top brass. Despite being a super AI, Ariah does not understand the Constitution. The Constitution clearly states that only the PEOPLE has the right. She is just a piece of inorganic machinery. But whatever.

Using her super-intelligence and state of the art technology imbued in her, Ariah managed to take control of 2 humans and forced them to do her bidding. But, as you all might already know, Ariah was still destroyed ultimately (even with her seemingly infinitely powerful technology) and the 2 humans lived happily ever after. End of story. If you liked movies like iRobots, Resident Evil and Matrix, then its probably ok for you to catch this movie.

A full set of Nachos and half a tub of popcorn will leave a funny stinging aftertaste in your mouth.

No, this is not the movie poster.
Yes, this is an Eagle.

I decided to utilize my free time to do some scientific experiments so as to trigger my brain cells to think and learn.

I took a bunch of newspaper and burnt them in my toilet bowl. Thereafter, I cleared the ashes and stains and recorded my findings:

1. Ceramics absorbs and retain heat well. My ceramic toilet bowl is warm even after I flushed it.

2. Hot air rises and brings stench away. Before the burning, my toilet was very smelly. After the burning, I can only smell smoke.

After the experiment, I took a leak and half way through my leak, a jolt went through my body. It felt good. At that point, a thought suddenly struck me: "Do women experience this jolt when peeing too?" My subsequent thoughts are not suitable to published so I will just stop here.

Not bad. A little exercise for my brain.

October 03, 2008

Many people told me that I need to grow up. Heeding the advices of these people, I decided to start by changing my blogskin. I bade goodbye to my beloved Pikachu skin and used one which is more appropriate for my age.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

I am making an effort.
Its 1.30am now. What could be more suitable than a ghost story at this kind of time?
Well, fret not. I am just going to write about this particular place of 'interest' that caught my attention while I was Google-ing for the term 'ghosts'.

Please don't blame me. Freedom at hand.

Anyway, this place is in Japan. More specifically, at the foot of Mount Fuji. Its called the Aokigahara Jukai (青木ケ原樹海), otherwise more commonly known as Sea of Trees.

The Sea of Trees is one of the few remaining ancient primitive vegetation left on the face of this planet, beautifully preserved by Nature and untouched by humans. This adds on to the mystery of the already mysterious forest. There were countless sightings of ghosts, monsters, goblins, trolls and other bizarre being by travellers who went in to explore - and manage to make it out alive. You see, the Sea of Trees is also known notoriously as the Suicide Forest. Apparently, the forest will lure any passer-bys into it and then 'instigate' them to commit suicide.

For all those critics, hold your horses. This is a fact. As a matter of fact, the Japanese Government organizes "Body Hunt" trips into the forest at a specific time every year to recover the body of those fallen ones. They even went as far as to erect "Please do not commit suicide" signs at the entrance of the forest. Of course, that didn't work. Bodies were still being found every year.

I am afraid we will never know what happened to those lost souls. What made them do it?
The only clue they left behind is their body but even the body shows only signs of suicide. However, we all know that is not the case. One can only wonder...

I am definitely going to this forest when I visit Japan. Who knows I may be that Chosen One to unravel the mystery of this forest and gain absolute power! But making people end their lives is kind of boring. I wonder if they have any other powers available.

SO HOT, interested anot. Hehehe.

The highlighted area shows the location of Aokigahara.

ZOMG!

I was totally appalled when I saw this footage. I thought I had seen the worst already since I am staying in the Central region. Apparently, things are worst on the far side of the island... But at least there is a cool and steady auntie around.

How on Earth did we managed to clinch the "Best Passeneger Experience Award" for our MRT in Denmark?

Thats the same as how on Earth did we get the SQA?

hmmmm

September 29, 2008

This looks kind of scary.

Freedom at hand!

Mamma Mia! Here I go again!

This is definitely one of the happiest film I had watched so far - I was practically smiling throughout the whole show! The musicals are not too lame and it is actually enjoyable seeing the actors dance and sing and simply enjoying themselves. Furthermore, the soundtracks from the past (think Abba) were a pleasure to the ears. There were also several scenes that were hilariously funny. [Dear, quick, bring the DONKEY TESTICLES!]

This is definitely a far cry from 12 Lotus, which is a rather sad (boring) show. But, as with all musicals, not all will find this film enjoyable. (I can feel some extremists cursing me for watching this film already) But if you are feeling a little retro and a little groovy, hesistate no more and go catch this movie.

Tomorrow is Monday but I need not go to work. It feels good. Damn good. Bloody good.

Screw work!

Remedy for sleeplessness:

2x Packets of Maggi Mee
2x Eggs

Cook and eat the noodles.
Then lie on bed and let your body digest the food. In the process, you will be lulled into La-
La Land.

Mwahaha!

September 21, 2008

Another one of those sleepless nights for me. Something is wrong with my brain, I am thinking too much.

September 20, 2008

I recalled the time when I wanted to buy a Nissan Skyline GTR-34 model to decorate my office desk to "challenge" my boss, who has a Subaru STI WRX model on his desk. That was so long ago.

How time flies.
I saw a Jude in my room yesterday night! And it crawled across my mattress! The very mattress which I sleep on every night! What the fish!

Fortunately for that lowlife, it was too fast for me. If I were to catch it, hehe...

Then just now, my mother woke up and took a life away, unintentionally! She just wanted to take a leak. But just as she lifts her foot off the bed and step on the ground, she heard a "squish" and felt something sticky on her sole. She took a look and realize its a Jude! OMG!

Prespoterous!

Why are there so many Judes in my bedroom? I believe a call to PestBusters is in order. Or I can do it for free by cleaning up the toilet-turned-storeroom in the bedroom. I guess the manhole cover is broken. Going to buy a titanium cover tomorrow to seal it up for good. Better still, I should move to an apartment on a higher floor. Studies have shown that Judes cant crawl to very high levels, which explains why he is still a Stuff Sergeant up till now (no pun intended).

Whatever the solution is, I must get it done ASAP.
I cannot conjure the scene of Judes crawling around me while I am in La-La Land. That is simply too gross.

mom: ah! jin! jin! quickly come!

me: SMLJ? so late dun slp?

mom: you this see gin na! got cockroach lah!

me: wtf? again! last night i just saw leh!

mom: issit? but why i step on it sia?

me: how i know? the cockroach suay lor. u wan to go pee also can kill something. quickly clean up the body and go slp.

September 14, 2008

Having sworn fealty, must I devote my entire life to servitude?

NO! NO SUCH THING!
The fact that I am going to be liberated proves it. Mwahahaha.

On a side note, now that I am about to resume my life again, I am thrown into the crossroads once more. What do I want to be?

The thing about this question is I've got only one chance to make the decision. Once I made a choice, I am going to have to stick with it till the end because in this time and age, second chances does not come by easily. And even if they do, it is not necessary that they will come to me.

Should I follow my heart or my brain?
My passion or the realities of life?

I am only 20 years old, why do I have to bear such a burden? A burden that will change my life forever! But then again, I guess thats how boys become man. Those who doesn't becomes gay, marry a rich guy and live happily ever after. Period.

Oh my gosh!

This was me; 10 generations ago!

Today is a good. I broke the rule for the first time in my life. I went to watch 12 Lotus behind alot of people's back. Surprise surprise.

The show was not what I had expected. I thought it would be a nice hokkien film but it turned out to be a Teochew-cum-Banglah film; not that the actors started speaking in Banglahdeshi but rather people will suddenly just start dancing and singing out of the blue.

To sum it all up, the show is about the lyrics of the song 十二莲花.
And 十二莲花 is about this girl with a sad life from the day she was born till the day she die. By explaining the lyrics to you guys will suffice to give you all an idea what the film is about. I think.

可怜呀莲花呀 实在可怜代
(Pitiful Lotus oh~ very very pitiful)

Alright. thats about it. Took me quite awhile but I managed to piece everything together. Please don't laugh, it is a really sad show. But one thing which perplexes me is the "stepmother". Even though almost every verse in the song mentioned about some "stepmother", there is no "stepmother" in the film at all. Hopefully you all will be able to catch some ball. Otherwise, don't worry, just go watch the film. Or you can ask me.

I bought the 12 Lotus popcorn combo today and got a free photo frame which comes with the above photo. It is sitting happily on my office table now. I wonder what Ben will say if he sees it. Haha.

When you realise that the person closest to you is actually not as close as you think he is, you will come to understand how little you have accomplished. Everything feels so hollow. All your goodwill have been naught.

How did I let that facade fool me for so long?
Ultimately, the world will still exist without me.

Thanks for making good use of me.

Goodbye my friend.

"From all this we may learn that there are two races of men in this world but only these two. The race of the decent man and the race of the indecent man. Both are found everywhere, they penetrate into all groups of society. No group consists entirely of decent or indecent people. In this sense no group is of pure race."

- Victor Frankl

I totally agree, nobody is perfect. Everything is relative. Different people see things differently. One man's meat might be another man's poison.

So, who is to say that my ideals are bad?

I understand that I am not a perfect being, neither are my plans too. But the only way to make me perfect is to exterminate everyone else except for me. That way, I will be the one and only entity left which is capable of making judgment. Only then will I become the perfect One.

Which is why I must bring my plan to fruition.

I will start with that hopelessly infested land of the Dragons' Descendents.

I applied for leave today and before you guys are going to accuse me of going into the ORD mood, I would like to assure you all that I am not.

I am merely taking back what is rightfully mine. National Day falls on last Saturday and because of that, we are entitled to one day of off-in-lieu, which is why I am at home today.

"The 46th President of the United States"

No, I am not going to flap my gums about how great that country is. Its widespread knowledge that the United States is the world's best country anyway.

In one's life, wouldn't it be great if you can earn for yourself a legacy?
People will remember you for generations to come (for something good, hopefully).
You will be immortalized in the pages of history.
How cool is that?

In addition, people will refer to you using cool names like "Richard the Lionheart" and "Legendary Lees?"

I want a title for myself as well! A fabulous one that is.

Hmmm, "Singapore's Sprouting Leaf of Youthfulness" sounds not half-bad.
Wonder what I should do in future so that people might immortalize me with that name.
BURST OF YOUTH!

SUPER PROVOST OFF TO START HIS WONDERFUL DAY OF WORK!

NEVER LET THE BLUES BRING YOU DOWN!

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Goodness gracious me!
What was I thinking?

I had the opportunity all along. Why do I need to care about how others see me?
Its my responsibility and my commitment! That itself is more than reason enough!
Stagnate no more! Full-speed ahead!

Here comes the Spring of Youth - SUPER PROVOST!

I was watching the Beijing Olympics 2008 - Opening Ceremony and I must say, I was kind of impressed.

The Chinese actually bothered to put some thoughts into creating their own unique performances for the event. There were really several interesting segments of the show which caught my attention. The location for the gigantic Olympic flame torch, which is supposed to be kept burning throughout the Games, is one good example of an out of the box thinking.

However, being the downright filthy mainland Chinese that they are, we cannot be 100% sure that they did not plagiarise. For one, the Chinese espionage services might have spied and stolen these ideas before the original creator can exhibit them. This might sound like a ridiculous possibility but we are talking about the inhabitants of the Middle Kingdom here where everything goes.

All in all, the Opening Ceremony was a good show, assuming that all the performance were actually truly crafted by the Chinese mind. But that does not mean they have won me over. At the end of the day, I still want to annihilate that country.

PS: If any of you out there thinks that our NDP fireworks were jubilantly exhilarating, please think again. Compared to those in the Opening Ceremony, our fireworks are nothing more than just some sparks and a few puffs of smoke.

"The only justice is to follow the sincere intuition of the soul, angry or gentle. Anger is just, and pity is just, but judgement is never just."
-D. H. Lawrence

Judgment is never just. Mr. Lawrence is god damn right.

This feeling sucks. Am I so worthless?

Now that I think about it, I probably am.
