Remember when you were young and had to visit the school dentist every six months?

I like to visit the dentist when I was in primary school. She was a gentle lady who would, in our modern lingo, talk cock with me and gave me sweets. I even remember eating some of her very sweet tasting toothpaste powder... haha. And she always remember who I am whenever I go see her, as if I am her VIP customer out the several thousand school kids. It was really fun to see her.

Unfortunately, my dental experience in secondary school wasn't as pleasant. The dentist seemed rushed to finish examining my oral health in as short a time as possible and there was minimal conversation. Just "Open your mouth" and "We are done. NEXT!". No chit-chats. Just the end results.

My dental experience in junior college was non-existent. MOH stop providing free dental healthcare beyond the secondary school level, assuming us to be responsible enough to get our teeth examined periodically. But guess what? Their assumption was wrong. I, for one, haven't been to the dentist for the past 5 years.

Tua pek gong knows what the heck has settled down and colonized the vast stretches of my molar molar terrain during these years. Well, to be honest, I couldn't care less about since I have been dutifully brushing my teeth twice in the day and night all the time. But when something starts to bleed, it definitely isn't a good sign.

So for the first time in 5 years, I ringed up Q&M and booked a dental appointment.

I was attended to by this Doctor Tay.

He was damn friendly, reminiscent of my primary school days dentist. He inserted some sort of camera into my mouth first and started taking photos of my molar atlas. Then with a few buttons presses, he brought up the images onto a screen hovering in front of me. Cool stuff. Next, with the pinching action, he zoomed in on my Just kidding. The pictures were kind of... dirty (well its been 5 years hasn't it?). There were yellow stuff stucked in between the grooves of my teeth.

According to Doctor Tay, those were the accumulation of the end products formed by the chemical reaction between potassium and calcium substances in our saliva. It is found in everyone's teeth... since everyone has saliva and is the most common stuff he had to clean all the time. My gums and teeth were fine (long live to brushing day and night!). The bleeding in my gums was only caused by the 'excessive' build-up of those yellow stuff and it would be fine once it was removed.

Next, he started putting stuff into my mouth and began cleaning up the filth.

It was all over in about 10 minutes I think. Oh and I found out the drill like thing which dentists use to clean our mouths ain't exactly a drill. Its actually called a scalar. Something that vibrates at a high frequency to knock off those yellow stuff stuck on your teeth. Think of a high-voltage powered micro vibrator. Yeap. I supposed knocking it off causes less damage than scraping it off?

After the treatment, Doctor Tay suggests that maybe I should consider putting on braces.

Because some of my teeth are very close to each other and this makes effective cleaning difficult, but it won't cause too much of a problem in general. But he mentioned that I have a protruding lower jaw and might need to go through a surgery to re-align my jaws if I want the full procedure.

"What kind of procedure?" I asked.

"Basically, they cut open your lower face, saw off parts off your lower jaw, re-attach them and voila!" he said nonchalantly.

...

Thanks doc. Glasgow smile anyone?

But he also advised against it, saying having strong jawline (so I have a strong jaw... hmm...) might not be a bad thing, especially if I am comfortable with my looks. He had a friend who went through the surgery and Doctor Tay felt that he looked worst after that. Haha.

I guess I will putting off the braces thing. Besides, kissing someone with braces reeks of kissing a metallic hammer. Yucks.

I was given an appointment card and a rather big bill ($103). Gonna have my teeth checked in 6 months time again. I am taking good care of my mouth from now on, without which, I won't be able to savor the sweet, creamy taste of my favorite durians!!!

You guys should visit a dentist soon too if you haven't done so for years!

The invigilator announced that your time is up.

You can either be feeling a helpless sense of despair. You refuse to lay down your pen. You want to continue the question which you were doing, trying to grab as many points, any points, you can as possible. But alas, reality forbids. You see the grim reaper approaching your aisle and moving down your column, coming nearer and nearer towards you. When he(she) finally stands before you, you look at the woven fibres of soul in your hands and then at grim reaper. You wished that maybe you could charm him with your bubbly eyes to give you more time, or maybe he will give you a second chance seeing how preciously you are clinging on to life. But that ain't going to happen. With the coldness of a scythe, he swipe his hands across yours and rip the few pieces of paper from you. Yes, you are going to fail (or at least perform abysmally).

Or.

You couldn't be happier to hear that your time is up. You have finished the paper earlier and have been waiting patiently and excitedly for the end where you will be relieved of all the pains you have endured till now. As the angel approaches you, you look at him with the brightest of smiles and voluntarily hand over your paper to him. The instant he took it from you, you sense the world around you dissolving into a picturesque scenery of a sky filled with beautiful clouds. You feel weightless. You feel that you are floating and you are rising towards a shimmering spot of light in the heavens. You hear people congratulating you on a job well done. Yes, you have passed the paper (or are going to perform excellently).

Of course, whatever it is, you are not going to heaven or hell after the paper. You will most probably be heading home to study hard for the next paper, or enjoy life if you have none left. And on your way out of the examination hall, chances are you will bump into friends who took the same paper as well. Depending on the circumstances, talking to them might make you feel better or worst.

Circumstance 1:
You just saw the grim reaper and he just saw the angel. He asked you how did you fare and you said fuck it. He will either sympathize with you or gloat over you. In the case of sympathy, he will probably say things like "Oh, don't feel sad. I am sure you did fine." or "Don't worry, the bell curve will save you." or "Don't be so pessimistic. Wait till the result's out.", all of which are meaningless and pointless and said just because he doesn't want to make you feel bad, when obviously, you already are. If he is gloating over you, you will probably feel like stabbing him a thousand times in his face with a durian (I will).

Circumstance 2:
You just saw the angel and he the grim reaper. Friends like this won't usually go around telling people he just fucked a paper. If he did, he is most probably be finding someone to whine to. So you should listen to him for abit. Don't be a jerk and go telling him you are going to heaven. It would really suck if you are stabbed a thousand times in your face by a durian. Be nice. Sympathize.

Circumstance 3/4:
Both of you either saw the angels or the grim reapers. In this case, you guys either go party together, or go emo together. Simple.

So, have you seen the angel or the grim reaper today? Or did you exact DURIAN VENGEANCE?

More haste. Less speed.

Do things too fast and you might end up with an incomplete material.

Take things nice and easy and do it slowly. Give it time to settle and form properly. Only then can you obtain a perfect crystal.

Even so, always be prepared to end up with a less than satisfactory end product. Things might go wrong somewhere in the process, especially when you are new to metallurgy. When that happens, take another piece of material and start all over again.

But remember, never settle for anything less than what you want.

It feels good to have finally gotten some tutorials out of the way. I should have done them ages ago but I just kept putting it off. I guess its time to start doing my homework regularly - starting from next semester! "Divide and conquer" really makes my job easier. It would makes yours easier too. Trust me. I have been through times where I have a test on the next day and I tried to cramp 20 chapters of knowledge into my head the day before. That didn't work out, not to mention I didn't get to sleep as well.

So, start clearing your work one by one, starting now!

"Alright sweety, we got to leave now. Aunt Liz will be here tomorrow morning so get a good night's rest ok?"

"But mommy, I am scared."

"Aww. It's alright, Boxer will protect you, right boy?"

"Woof!"

"But..."

"Don't worry honey. We will lock the doors before we leave. By the time you wake up, Aunt Liz would have prepared breakfast for you. Besides, Boxer is by your side."

"Okay... can you tuck me in?"

"Sure. Now go to sleep alright. We are leaving. Bye bye."

"Bye.."

And so, the girl's parents left the house, leaving her alone at home for the night with her dog. The girl fell asleep soon after their parents' departure.

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

A few hours passed. The girl was awoken by the sounds of dripping water. It appears to be coming from the bathroom. But she knew she was alone in the house. Thinking that it could be just sounds from the water pipes, she reached down her bed to feel her dog. Boxer responded to her touch and licked her hands gently. Having sensed the reassuring lick, the girl fell asleep again.

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

The girl woke up to the dripping sounds again. Instinctively, she reached underneath her bed for Boxer and felt her dog's reassuring lick. Telling herself that it is just the water pipes, she went back to sleep again.

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

The third time. This time, the girl was scared. Terribly scared. She reached underneath her bed to find reassurance from her dog again. She was still convinced that she is the only one in the house.

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

"Drip.. drip... drip..."

Dripping sounds continue to emanate from the bathroom. She couldn't take it anymore. She plucked her courage, got off her bed and walked towards the bathroom to see what is causing the noise. When she reached the front of the bathroom door, she slowly stretched her hand in to feel for the switch.

*Flick*

The bathroom lights came on. The girl was shocked by what she saw. Hanging from the shower head was Boxer's lifeless body and the dripping sounds came from Boxer's blood dripping onto the floor. Before she could react further, something caught her attention from the corner of her eyes. Something was smeared on the mirror in blood:

YOUR HAND TASTES SWEET, MY DEAR.

Suddenly, the girl felt a presence behind her. She turned around and screamed for the last time...

April 03, 2010

Oh my sky what is going on? I can no longer focus like before. It takes the sligtest bit of distraction to pull me away from the primary task nowadays.Take for example this afternoon, I was about to start revising my Chemsitry when a random thought about Pikachu leads me to playing my newly bought Pokemon HeartGold for the whole day. What is worst is I know my Chemistry quiz is next Tuesday and I am aware that there is mother a lot which I need to study.

I allowed myself to waste my day away on a game despite being fully aware of the dire consequences if I didn't do well for my quiz. This is totally unacceptable behavior! Yet, I am permitting it.

Have I been bewitched?

Even now I am wandering aimlessly outside knowing that public transport services are going to terminate soon and I might have to end up walking home.

First it was Chrysler and now Volvo. What the heck are these CEOs thinking, selling their companies to China. As we all know, this mother piece of shit land is only good at one thing. Copying, copying and copying. Everyone knows that goods manufactured in that shit country are not reliable, cars included. The people there are just too stupid to engineer a decent automobile. No no no, they are a retarded race who cannot even create a proper handphones or MP3 players.

So what should they do to improve their competitiveness? Buying Stealing other people's ideas. So acquiring Volvo will supposedly give China a foothold in Europe's automobile industry. Right people. Watch out. Things are not so simple. Something has to be done to curb this dumbfuckland's growth before the whole world becomes infested by those pesky little mainland Chinese and degenerates 100 years back in time!

When the 80 year old Swedish marquee goes bust one day, I will be laughing and telling those dumbass management executives "Told ya' so."

When I first saw the synopsis of this movie a few weeks back, I was expecting it to be Hostel-ish, alot of blood, brain matter, intestines, protruding ribcages, eye gorging, tendon severing, skin skinning (?), fingernails plucking, toe cutting, sharp objects inserted into body openings, head splitting and stuffs like that.

Oh and how can I forget about tongue shredding, wood chipping machine feeding, whipping with spiked whips, hammer to the shin, non lethal lacerations, drilling through knee cap, rolled through a roller machine leg first, roasted slowly over fire and... oops, I have digressed. Let's move on.

The show is not as graphic as hostel. Sure, there are a few parts that makes me cringe but nothing of the Hostel level. Just some arm hacking and tendon severing scenes. I can't say I am disappointed because I was kind of relieved to find minimal gore in the show. I guess I am doubtful of my tolerance for anything beyond Hostel level but I will only know my boundaries when I watched something beyond Hostel level... something live perhaps hehehehe *Ahem*

So the storyline is somewhat similar to Hostel. A bunch of hooligans were escaping to the Netherlands from Paris and halfway on the road, they decided to rest at a motel(hostel?) in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately for them, the motel was run by a Nazi family who kidnaps and kill people for...

This is the weird part. They don't seem to kidnap people and torture them for fun. And they are most definitely not an organized syndicate that kidnaps people and auction them off for others to torture for fun. They are just a Nazi family headed by a surviving member of the SS. They don't seem to have any reason to be killing innocent tourists. But yet, there were tonnes of body hidden in the bowels of the motel in the show. If I had to name a reason for them, it would most likely be to protect their identity.

So there is no clear explanation as to why the family kills innocent people and there is no concrete plot to it. Just a film showing people at the wrong place at the wrong time. If this is the "French answer to Hostel and Saw", I have say it is not a very good answer. Meanwhile, I will be looking forward to Hostel 3.

One plus point for the show is, the main actress is mother hot! Hot stuffzzz!!!
Karina Karina, you made my day ~

*UPDATES* I just Wiki-ed the movie and found out that the Nazi family are cannibals. Hence, their need to kill anyone who stayed at their motel.

Dear Mr Bill Gates,

I think life is too precious to be overly concerned about grades and grades. I am not against education but going through factory processes which aims to assemble you in the shortest time possible can be quite tiring at times. If you are defective, they will just chuck you aside. You can then choose to pay to get re-assembled again, or simply remain in the dumpster for the rest of your life.

I honestly don't believe that you need an ISO Certification in order to be successful. Please tell me how did you rise to where you are today even though you dropped out of college.

Thanks.

There are people who plays a significant role in your life, and then there are those who you think will play a significant role in your life. We often take those who are closest to us for granted and spend our energies in pursuing someone else who don't really care.

Learn to let go. Learn to appreciate. To reiterate the age old mantra from Squall Leonhart once more:

Reality isn't so kind. Keep your hopes lower. That way, you will feel less pain when things doesn't go the way you want it to.

HEY PEOPLE!

Remember I came up with some scientific theories of my own some time back?
Well I DID IT AGAIN!

Another marvelous scientific discovery by my brilliant mind!

"The speed at which your shit is ejected out of your a-hole is directly proportional to the amount of stress exerted on your rectum." - Jin

Simply put, if you hold your shit for too long, pressure will build up inside you rectum and since the pressure outside your anus is atmospheric pressure, the vast difference in pressure will cause the rectum to eject your shit projectile out at mind-blowing speeds!!!

That is why when you hold your shit for too long, your urge to shit starts to increase and when you finally find a toilet bowl, you find that your shit will be ejected so violently that water from the toilet bowl will splash onto your cheeks. Butt cheeks. You can try to clamp your ass tight but it will be a foolish and futile attempt to contain your shit. The force generated by the difference in pressure is simply too huge for our human ass to control.

This phenomenon is all the more evident when you have watery shit. The high-speeds at which your liquid manure is ejected results in those melodious PU PU PU sounds. And because its watery, you tend to see your whole toilet bowl covered with your shit after you had a watery dump. That is attributed to Newton's Second Law which involves the high speed at which your shit particles hit your toilet bowl. Ha. Even Newton's Law confirms my theory.

There you have it! OMG I am so proud of myself. Someone should totally give me a Nobel Prize.

I shall call this new theory "Jin's Shitty Law".

Like all other laws of Physics, you cannot defy Jin's Shitty Law. So next time when you need to shit, do not hesitate and quickly find a toilet. It will be healthier for you and your rectum. You wouldn't want to have your rectum ruptured due to excess pressure build-up would you?

Next mystery to solve: Why do humans experience a moment of temporal bliss the moment they let out their shit which have been held back for a long time.

Alright this is going to be childish but I don't care. Here goes:

The Glasgow Smile.

Does it sound like a new film to you? Or a cocktail? Or the name of a ship? A painting? A monument? A person? The name of a band?

Hahahaha... I bet you all my FE1003 notes that whatever you are thinking of, it is not the right answer.

This innocent name has a not so innocent definition...

The Glasgow Smile is a nickname for the result of cutting the face of a victim from the edge of his mouth to his ears. Remember Joker from Batman? The cut, and the scars it leaves, resembles an extension of a smile. How cute. Wait... there is more.

Sometimes, to further hurt, or even kill, the victim, he would be stabbed in the stomach or kicked in the groin (for men) so that his face will be ripped apart when he screams. And why is it called the Glasgow Smile? Because the practice originated from the city of Glasgow, Scotland.

This is a cruel, if not, inhumane, way of treating another person. But I guess its an effective tool of fear because I am disturbed by it. Especially the thought of my face ripping apart. Ouch. Well, I guess to make it less cruel, we can tickle the victim instead of stabbing/kicking him. At least he will have a moment of joy before finding his face split in two. Hey, if he is lucky, he might be able to hold his laughter and save his face!

Ha! I sure know how to improvise. And I shall name this new method of torture...

Jin's Grin!

I went to watch the play by Hall 15 Production crew at Republic Polytechnic yesterday evening. It was a good play. The actors were good and they portrayed their characters goodly, for lack of a better word. My English proficiency seems to have spiraled deep deep into the abyss of nothingness.

I especially liked the father of the female protagonist. He was damn cute and comical. I think I am going to start imitating some of his actions and gestures. The mom of the male protagonist is, well... a pretty thing to look at. But of course, I am just admiring her good looks. Not like someone sitting beside me. The three main friends are my favorites too. Sometimes, I wish I have bitchy/supportive/funny/retarded friends like that. Right now, most of the people I know are r - WHAT? My phone? Just answer it for me~!

The play revolves around the difficulties which the female protagonist, who is a talented singer with the voice of the next American Idol, faced after she turned partially deaf. (No offence but is it true that deaf people cannot speak properly?)

What will you do if the person you love manifests himself in the image of someone you hate?

This was the dilemma faced by the male antagonist, who hated his deaf mother for bringing shame on him since young but ended up falling in love with the bearer of the voice of the next American Idol. He wasn't sure whether or not to pursue this forbidden love but with the help of his trusty besties and an unlikely twist of fate, he found his happy ending.

Why do people try so hard to fit in with the norm of society? She could have regained her sense of hearing easily by simply putting on a listening aid but the bearer of the voice of the next American Idol refuses to do so for fear of being labeled 'deaf' and 'weirdo' by her friends and society. Even so, she was still being ostracized by those who knows about her illness.

Everyone is unique. Just because society decides what is the norm doesn't make you abnormal. You are as normal as can be, the same with everybody. Stereotypes and perceived good/bad are some undesirable by-products of modern human society. The majority is not always right. The Devil's truth becomes written if the Angels die. We are soft, composed of roundish shapes, warm and living creatures, so what has encouraged us to try to become sharp, hard, plastic and cold beings? The lack of courage perhaps. Even I am guilty of that most of the time. Its kinda sad when we have to live our life according to the default settings dictated by society. But what to do? Righteousness is not something we can acquire over the night and in this 21st century, benefits > morality.

When was the last time you were yourself?

Now now, Hall 2's Baikachu seems rather promising. I might catch that too.

When it comes to building something pretty and practical at the same time, Apple is the dragon head old big.

I simply cannot understand why our PC manufacturers, which have way way way way way way way more edge over Apple, thanks to Windows' dominance for a period of time, still cannot come up with a decent looking laptop with decent specs. Aesthetics and performance doesn't seem to go hand in hand in the PC world. You either have a brick which can take almost anything you throw at it, or you get a shiny crystal ball which shatters the moment you apply too much pressure.

Then, along came Apple who married the two together. Yes. A bimbo with brains. I can imagine those anti-Apple insurgents and Windows fanboys cursing and swearing at me now. Whatever. The product speaks for itself. Look at a MacBook Pro. Compared with all other mainstream laptops on today's market, it has the best specs coupled with the best looks. (If you care only about performance, then this will be of no concern to you. But I believe majority of us wants to have something nice to look at as well)

Sure. PC has the HP Envy. But hey. After squeezing everything into a case which is about as big and as sleek as a MacBook Pro, they realized they can't fit an optical CD drive into it and have to offer it as an external accessory along with the laptop. Lets not mention that we need to pay $50 for it, on top of the $3700 you are already paying. Ha, for that kind of money, I would have expect everything to be included in the laptop itself.

I am no Apple fanboy. Then why did I buy a Mac? Simple. I am 49% Giordano and 51% Louis Vuitton. And partly cause I want to try something new as well.

But if tomorrow, some PC company builds a pretty laptop with decent specs running on Windows, I will be sure to go back to Windows. In other words... hehehe

I don't understand why some people likes to begin without having an end in mind. If you offered to do something, why don't you be thorough about it and finish everything instead of doing 99% and leaving that 1% behind for someone else to clean up after you? I mean, you have already finished 99% of the work, what is the point of leaving 1% unfinished? What is your rationale for doing so? I simply cannot understand.

If you have no intention of finishing the task, then why volunteer in the first place?

It has been a long long while since I have such a strong urge to want something. No it is not about mobiles phones, laptops, bags, wallets, clothes or shoes. Not that I can afford to be materialistic now.

If the Secret works, let it be now!

The perfect place for the perfect activity.

Now now don't you go getting the wrong idea. This is not some dirty brothel with terminals dedicated for porn-surfing. This is my living room during the witching hour with all lights off. What better ambience to enjoy Paranormal Activity in?

Well, as you all might have guessed, this is a horror film. And horror it did instill in me.
There were no physical ghosts in the film. It is not like the Ring, Shutter, Wishing Stairs, Dark Water or Ju-On etc. You do not see the ghosts in this movie. Instead, you feel it, you imagine it. Horror films which employs psychological mindplay (for the lack of a better word) to scare is the scariest. When you can no longer depend on your fully functional senses, you know that you are screwed. Big time.

How would you feel if you are dragged away from your bed and into a room which you hate most across the house in the middle of the night by nothing? Not very good, I presume.

That is what happened to the couple in the movie. They were tormented by this unknown entity in their new home. At first, things were fine but when the boyfriend tried to take matters into his own hands, he unknowingly angered that entity which eventually led to dire consequences which are too scary to talk about on a public webpage. I even went to check the authenticity of the film after watching it. Thank goodness it was not a true story. It wasn't even based on one. Phew.

The film has three different endings. I went and read about them and felt that the one I watched is the scariest amongst the three. Nonetheless, I will still watch the other 2 variations to see how it is like.

Anybody wants to join me? It has to be in a brothel-like environment of course.

February 03, 2010

Sometimes, I wonder whether what I have been doing all this while is worth my time. Trading my time not for personal gains but for Hall commitment instead. The countless hours of sleep which I had sacrificed and the infinite attention I have given to my Hall activities. Is it worth it in the end, just to get a room?

I find myself talking less to my family. My friends go out and I cannot join them because I have to do stuff for Hall. My mama even says that I treat my home like a hotel now, going back and leaving as and when I feel like it. But she doesn't understand. I have stuff to do in Hall. Again. Just when I thought it will be more relaxed after Cheerleading ended, the committee matters start to kick in.

My life has become entrapped within the walls of Hall 7.

I want my freedom.

February 02, 2010

OH MY GUAN YIN MAH!!!!

The agony of being able to see but not able to touch! And I don't just want to touch. I want to POSSESS it!

Holy mother piece of manure.
GRRRR! I am so excited. But I am also dejected at the same time.

BECAUSE I CAN ONLY SEE, NOT TOUCH!
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~

Now I know why they say human desires are terrible sins that should be purged from the human soul. My desire to own this something has already overtaken my senses and my cognition!

Oh crap. The things I will do to own that thing...

SOMEBODY SAVE ME FROM DESPAIR!
(Incidentally, only that thing can. That means I am out of luck. Great.)

AHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am such a superficial person. Oh man!
***Poke my eyes. NOW! Somebody. ANYBODY!
My past... I stashed it away, out of fear of being commented by others. But digging a hole and burying your head in it only shows your inability to get over what has happened. What has happened has happened. It doesn't matter anymore because we cannot keep living in the past. Otherwise, what is going to happen will never happen.

It is now time to unlock the hidden memories within this blog. Muahaha.

Resolutions for 2010:

1) Get a killer bod. One look and you are dead!

2) Get a car. A Subaru Impreza 1.6 perhaps.

3) Get my driving license.

4) Pull my grades up to a level befitting of an Aerospace Engineer.

5) Grow my hair back.

7) Join NTU Aces Cheerleading Team!

8) Stay happy.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting but here it is at last, the winning routine of Hall 7.

Listen to them shout; the entire audience was ours at 04:20 - 04:33. To hear them cheer in amazement at our stunts was simply... exhilarating. The adrenaline, the cheers and the electrifying moments. It was an all new experience. The experience of VICTORY!

Well done Hall 7. We will take on the Hall Olympiad again next year, with me at the helm of our cheerleading team.

Did you guys notice the group of people standing in a single line behind us while we were performing? They are from NTU ACES Cheerleading Team, National Champions who have beaten the likes of NUS and some town school.

They are a bunch of cool people. Haha.

January 27, 2010

CHEER FACE!
The day has finally come.

After 6 arduous months of trainings, we are finally going to the arena. NTU Hall Olympiad starts in 14 hours time. We left 1 year ago as the Champions and in 14 hours, the Championship will be put on the line again.

16 halls, 1 Championship, bragging rights.

The defending Champions have no intention of losing their Gold.
Tonight, we cheer to our hearts content!

Se7en! For GOLD!!!

January 26, 2010

Hahaha. Another fun side of Japanese people. Wouldn't it be nice if people can relax and enjoy doing stupid things for a moment? Singaporeans would probably think the stuntsman in the video to be a lunatic and will most likely reciprocate with a shocked stare or some vulgar comments. Oh well. what can we do?

I have been neglecting my Japanese language for too long. I should probably start revising it on my own. I want to go to Japan!

YES! ALL LOCAL NTU STUDENTS UNITE! EXPEL THE SICK MEN OF EAST ASIA BACK TO THEIR FILTHY LANDS!

I have personally had my life put at risk by these very pathetic creatures. I was still in the midst of alighting the bus when the driver suddenly shut the door and drove away. Fortunately, I was quick enough to dodge the snapping doors. Seriously. These creatures have eyes but doesn't know how to see and all they care about are their shift times and to drive around as fast as possible in any manner they deem fit.

If you ask your friends in NTU who have taken the shuttle bus before, don't be surprised to learn that one can actually drift with a 10 ton vehicle and make tight turns at speeds exceeding the safety limits. If you are looking to flaunt your exceptional balancing skills, look no further. Simply make a trip down to NTU and take one of our many shuttle bus services. I assure you will not regret the challenge. We guarantee to transform you from a clown to a ballerina.

Never mind that our government is subsidizing up to $12,000 for our university education.
Never mind that we need to fork out an additional $3000 to $4000 for our university fees.
Never mind that our parents pay taxes every year to fund our Ministry of Education.
It is all in the name of attracting filthy_cheap foreign talents to inject diversity in our barren population.

All hail PAP smear!

Just leave me alone like how they left Britney alone!

"As commanded by our NS Commander, each CO please nominated 3 officers to attend the Advanced SODP. These officers should preferably be identifed as with potential, or you intend to entrust them with appointments for upcoming major deployments."

I dont buy any of these potential officer bullshit you are selling. You haven't even seen me before and you already know I have potential? Wow. You must be psychic. You intend to entrust me with upcoming responsibilities? FUCK!

Hey guys! Which do you think is worst? Having a 101.12°F fever and unable to sleep, having to put up with the discomfort of the accursed illness. Or, unable to get your daily meal of MacDonald's which includes MegaMac with Seaweed Shaker fries.

Oh, the torture of famine. I am hungry and I don't want to settle with bread and cheese. I want my upsized Mega burger with Mayonnaise and tomato ketchup for my fries. Lets not forget my refreshing ice lemon tea as well. Ooooooooo... its either I am going to collapse from this excruciating mental torture, or my body is going to get inflamed beyond recognition from foolhardily dialing McDelivery despite my fiery condition.

It didn't help that I forgot to restock my trusted Paracetomol, thinking that my body should have gotten immune to the fever virus after having been afflicted by it for like a thousand times. Apparently, the human body is not as strong as I think it to be. What weak creatures we are! Take away our computers and see how we will degenerate! At least I know I will end up stuffed in the corner of a room, cringing and contorting my body parts like a twisted barb wire, tearing and shivering endlessly from the absence of my panacea, the Internet.

They say sleep is like a temporal death, a momentary state of paradise for the living ones where they experience the tranquility of life, unaffected by mortal desires (unless you get nightmares. Though wet dreams are an added bonus). Unfortunately, I am undeserving of this sanctuary because I CANNOT SLEEP! Could this be one of the many trials and tribulations I have to go through? Being put to the test of the raging inferno within my body, being judged for everything I have done up till now. But... I am a free-thinker. So who could be judging me? Might it be you, the great you-know-who sama? I know it was my bad for drooling over your plushie every night while sleeping but your yellow body is simply too cute for me to resist. Please have mercy!!!

I have been training so hard for Cheer. It would really suck if I am unable to perform on the actual day. I WANT MY 5 MINUTES OF FAME! PLEASE LET ME RECOVER IN DUE TIME!

您老不洗袜的照桃!

December 17, 2009

Wheeeeeee! This new burst of strength!

I feel like I can take on the entire world! There is no way you can defeat it, therefore, it is best for you to simply accept the CJ Administration.
Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine
You blow mind my mind. Hey Mickey!

He, he, they, he, she and he came over for a firepot dinner this evening. I am so glad I finally get to show off my sparkling clean room which I won't hesitate to praise myself for the effort I put in to clean it up. My former roomie was so amazed that he could actually enter his former abode without slippers, or any other footwear on. I haven't seen her for very long and she has become more womanlike since then. Taller too. And still wearing her classic Mona Lisa smile.

During dinner, we talked about the prospects of being a social escort. More specifically, young guys being social escort for wealthy tai-tais who have grown sick of their balding (up and down) man at home. These wealthy homemakers will shower her young escort with gifts such as iPods(!), MacBooks(!!!), PS3(*!), handphones(!!!!!) and the likes. In return, all the young escorts need to do is to accompany them and make them feel like a woman all over again.

It is a very good deed on the escort's side because everybody deserves a second chance and they(the escorts) are making this second chance possible for the tai-tais. Furthermore, we all know that no family is perfect, all the more so with rich families where the members are constantly plotting each other's death in order to obtain the largest share of the family wealth. These tai-tais, being victims of such internal strife, may be suffering from grievances but are unable to pour them out to anybody because everyone at home is plotting her death. Therefore, the escort might become a confidante to the tai-tais in whom she can share her grief with. Another good deed done, if you ask me.

After all, these tai-tais are loaded with money but cannot find kinship at home and they are simply trying to obtain some kinship with their earthly wealth. Therefore, I don't see why young people like me shouldn't step out and give them the warmth they need. And then there is the sex part --- this is where I will draw the line. NO sex with rich old tai-tais. Period. I don't think I need to explain further.

iPod. Yes.
Macbook. Yes.
PS3. Yes.
Handphones. Yes.
Sex. Only with your pretty daughter.

So, if any of you lonely tai-tais out there needs to feel some warmth, feel free to contact me through my tagboard. This is my picture. Yes, I am a super-hot boy model from Japan. (Ignore the female model)

Want this?

Then you gotta play this.

December 03, 2009

I wasted too much time on my last paper. I don't know why but I can't help but feel that way.

This is my cheat sheet which I rushed through the night.

the front...

and the back...

8 chapters of Discovery knowledge squeezed into two pages of a single sheet of A4 sized paper. Now that I look at it, I wonder how the heck did it took me 6 hours, half a can of 旺仔 Mini-Buns, one bottle of water, a pack of Oreo and multiple handstands to complete it. Looks like something which you can finish in like half an hour right?

Try it for yourself and see.

I am going to stash this Discoverer's Sheet away in case I lose it. I might just go on a killing spree if this damn thing goes missing before my exam later. Seriously.

December 01, 2009

HAHAHAHAHA. This is one of the funniest videos I saw in awhile. And I wonder why SAF didn't do something like this. Oh wait. We have those pesky little citizens with nothing better to do after emptying their bowels camping online, waiting to snipe anyone who did nothing wrong. Anyway, which NS person will pay homage to their unit?

If you ain't got what it takes, you can eat RANGER SHIT!

November 30, 2009

Its 3.30am and I am still awake. My Computing paper is at 9am later on. Hmm.
Will I make it for the paper? Or will I oversleep and miss it, failing it immediately?
I wonder...

Heck. Exams aside. I just watched Silent Hill for the second time and I realized most part of it is based on Silent Hill 1, which I am playing on my PSP (and had just completed). I love the game. The psychological fear it evokes coupled with the awsome soundtracks (courtesy of Akira Yamaoka) makes it a perfect survival-horror game. I liked Resident Evil too but Silent Hill is simply mind-fucking and I find that to be most thrilling. I've always liked mind games... but I guess I am too stupid to conjure a decent one.

Silent Hill. I wonder if a place like this really exists. If it does, Japan will be a good place for it to be in with all its occultish background and creepy, faraway villages in the mountain where the villagers conduct fiendish rituals. Wait a sec. That would be the territory of Fatal Frame!

There are some places in everyone's heart that will bring back that lovely sense of nostalgia. I felt it just now when I was studying, a total irrelevance; my revision has got nothing to do with those places and memories. But somehow, it just came into me.

Reminiscing about those good old days brings back a sensation which I can't put in words. It just feels pleasant and... stupid at the same time.

History can never be re-written. At least not before I invent the time machine. Even so, it just won't be the same again.

Obsessed with achieving absolute power.

November 20, 2009

I left the exam hall grinning to myself today, not because I am going to get an A. I am intrigued by my brain's ability to come up with seemingly logical extrapolations for questions which I am unsure of within the last 10 minutes of my paper. The human mind. Such an interesting entity.

Oh and it sucks to get a mental block during examinations!

brain Pictures, Images and Photos
OH MY GOD!!!!! WHY MUST IT BE HIM!!!! WHY DID HE GET TO PLAY SUCH A ABSOL-EFFING-FANTASTIC GAME!

WHY WHY WHY!

I ALSO WANT TO PLAY!

RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Ahem. Oh my gosh. I am still mesmerized by the game show. Who can we depend on in Singapore to create a fabulous game show like this? I guess only I can do it! What Huan Le Dian Feng? Bleh. CMI lah!!!

Meet the REAL PIKACHU!
It almost sounded digital! But judging from the pitch of her voice, I think she is the real deal.

Shes gonna be my new idol!!!

And since we are talking about Pikachu, I am sure you guys want to have your own Pikachu right? Well NOW YOU CAN!!! Just click on the link below.
I already got mine :D

PIKACHU
FIVE MOST COMMON FACEBOOK FAILS

Source

Thanks to Facebook, mobile devices and impaired judgment, we're only a few seconds (and clicks) away from staining our entire extended social network! That's piece of mind in your pocket. To make sure you never appear on Facebook Fails, follow our how-not-to guide of the five most common Facebook faux pas.

1. Married Schmoopy Fail

Why whisper sweet nothings when you can shout hot garbage? Why practice safe sexts when you can PDA with your PDA? Excessive spousal schmoopiness is easily the most frequently occurring fail (at least in my circle), and the primary reason Facebook should create a "dislike" button. There's even a specialty site for repeat offenders called STFU, Marrieds.

2. Mom Invasion Fail

She's reading, she's typing, she's commenting and liking :). She's poring over details, discovering secrets and crushing your game. And wherever Mom goes, Big Daddy is right behind.

3. Relationship Fail

It's not officially awkward until it's on Facebook.

4. Grammer Fail (sp?)

No spell check or auto-correct functions can stand between the fast-typing, carefree status updaters and the passive-aggressive grammar cops who love them.

5. Darwin Fail

Special thanks to the folks who enrich our lives by failing to grasp the basic concepts of food safety, unknowingly exploring the subtle joys of double irony, etc.

I totally deserve a PhD. right now! Who could have created two theories within the span of 3 hours. Only YOURS TRULY can.

Jin's Anti-Stress Theory:

My good friend, Voluptious Boobies, was asking me if there was any method to help him relief exam stress. So I came up with this brilliant solution for him based on the very fundamentals of material science!

Stress = Force applied/Area exposed

In this case, force applied is a constant because all the exams and tests and tutorials and what-nots are fixed. They are already pre-determined and there is nothing you can do to change them. What you can change is the area exposed, that is how much you are exposed to the force.

By revising more and doing more past year exam papers, you are exposing yourself more to the subject. You will then become more familiar with them and once you are familiar with them, you will be able to tackle all those pesky exam questions.

As with all other fractions, you increase the denominator in order to get a smaller value. So, if you want to reduce exam stress, simply practice more questions and revise more. Ha. Who would have thought that the basics of material science could help us in reducing our exam stress? Well, I did.

Everyone is Full of Shit Theory:

Now this has got to be the simplest theory in the entire history of mankind. No shit. In fact, I think it is because of its simplicity that many great scientists and philosophers missed it in the past, until now.

Most, if not all, humans shit everyday until their death. So if an average human being lives for 70 years, he would have 70 years worth of shit stored within him. In other words, everyone of us is full of shit! There you have it. The simplest theory of all time.

So next time, when people says you are full of shit, don't believe them. Because everyone is full of it!

What the heck is wrong with their intellect? And this actually took place in ION ORCHARD? SHINGZ!
