When Christopher Columbus set sail in search for the New World, almost everyone in Europe laughed at him for his ridiculous theory. But hey, we know who had the last laugh in the end. Columbus paved the road for the eventual establishment of the mighty nation of the United States several hundred years later. That guy deserves a medal for such a feat. Let us give him a round of applause.

*applause* *wooo yeah!* *way to go columbus!* *marry me columbus!*

If he had been contented with the theory of a straight flat Earth then, the accolades might have gone to someone else. But Columbus didn't. He cannot understand how the world's ocean can continue to remain full when it is supposedly flowing off at the Edge of the World. So he decided to investigate for himself and ta-dah, America was born!

...

If that is the case, then Columbus is also responsible for George Bush's regime and the mess that they are in now. Its ok. I believe America will prevail. Blame not the country but the people. America is simply such a wonderful piece of land. But it will be even more wonderful if it were to be annexed by the Great Motherland.

Ahem. I have digressed but my point is sometimes, we cannot do things in a logical manner. Sometimes, we have to follow our instincts, even if it contradicts with the logical decision deduced by our brain (e.g. spending over 1k on wallets. no justifications intended). After all, we are humans for crying out loud. If we do everything the right way, there will not be much fun in life anymore, will there?
