BAR BAR BLACK SHEEP HAVE YOU ANY MOO?
YES SIR YES SIR THREE RAY BOO!

This is a cozy little al fresco pub restaurant tucked away in the tranquil estate of Cherry Avenue. Hmmm. Is it me or does the place sounds like somthing from the Pokemon world?

Most of the patrons there are ang mohs and it creates some sort of a psuedo-American diner ambience which is definitely to my liking. My HSBC counterpart (the one without a hot date) found this place while surfing the net and felt that its a good place for us to chill and relax and eat and drink. I have to agree with his intuition.

We ordered a Tower of Stella Artois and drank to our hearts content, thanks to brandon whom, because of his principle, cannot consume alcohol.

ho ho ho. who needs the tower of babil when we can have a tower of BEER! time to drink and grow a beer belly! and the best thing is this tower costs 50% less than it would have at other places. generally, the beverages there are cheaper as compared to other places. which is why its a good place to chill and hang out and drink.

while we were drinking and talking cock, this female peddler appeared out of nowhere and shocked us with her obscenely liberal methods: "Aye! Want to buy DVD anot?"

she is selling pirated DVDs! she brought along a gigantic bag packed full with DVDs (porn or not we dunno coz we dint bother to entertain her) and went from table to table to peddle her goods! we were like - what the hell? when was the sale of pirated DVDs legalized? for those who might be interested, you must go there to have your meal. just wait for awhile and the peddler will appear. mysteriously.

this is the tandoori nasi briyani which chingay ordered for his dinner. indian food in a western pub... talk about east meet west. the pub serves thai food as well. such a melting pot is most welcomed since it gives us more variety to choose from but i would recommend you guys to just stick to the western menu because the thai and indian food are actually prepared by other seperate stalls in the vicinity which doesnt really taste as good. and the serving is just enough to fill the stomach of an adolescent. and the price? a hefty $12.

he doesnt seem too happy with his food... LOL!

moving on, this is the HOMEMADE BEEF BURGER which i ordered. looks more appetizing isnt it?

RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the bionic burger cruncher mutilating one of its many many defenseless victims! HOO HOO HOO HA HA HA HA *CHOMP* *CHOMP* *GULP*

wei jie ordered a set of calamari rings with lots of fries and some salads. brandon didnt order anything because he ate at his workplace before coming to join us. he had free flow of breads and fillings at his subway outlet... ok at least he did order a cup of juice.

anyway, the food there is nothing new. burgers and the usual western food but they are delicious. for my beef burger, i can taste and feel the juice oozing out from the handmade patty when i chomp down on it. at least its not the standard machine made patty found in megamacs worldwide... but i still love megamac! one thing to note is that the waiting time for the food is very long. we waited for about 30 minutes before my burger and wei jie's calamari set arrived. however, for those ordering from the thai and tandoori menus, you will be able to see your food in less than 5 minutes. the choice is yours.

2.5 litres of beer flushed away...

...by chingay, wei jie and yours truly. brandon looks so serious. i guess its because his the only sober person around since he didnt drink anything hahaha. i look EXCEPTIONALLY cheerful. and yellow.

after our hearty dinner and drink, we went nearby to have ice dream for dessert. cant remember the name of the shop but i think its venecia or something like that. i ordered durian supreme plus tiramisu. brandon dark chocolate. wei jie belgium chocolate and picasso. chingay coconut.

thereafter, we went to pee and then went home. it was a night well spent catching up with one another. we talked about going to australia but didnt confirm anything because of money issues. but i would like to go there. especially after brandon told us about the fun things which we can do there. for one, we can go into the Great Victoria Desert and try mining for gold. or we can go to the zoo and poke the koalas with sticks. what am i talking about?

feeling satisfied by the meal and drinks, i hit the bed immediately when i reached home.

but... if i am already asleep who is writing this post then? could it be... the legendary GHOST WRITER? or maybe i am just suffering from bipolar disorder.
